What! This is one of my fave new shows. And it's a hit for ABC! WTF?

Apparently, production for Courteney Cox's sexy/funny new show Cougar Town has come to a halt... because of Court, herself.

ABC has this to say: "We can confirm production on Cougar Town has been temporarily shut down in order for Courteney to deal with a private family matter."

Hmm, kinda random, right? Hope everything is okay with Cox and her fam though! It must be a pretty big deal if they had to stop the show completely for a while...

And then some!

Last night I caught a screening of New Moon here in Hollywood, and while the film hasn't been getting the best reviews, I loved it and I thought it was everything it needed to be.

Of course, the chemistry between Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart was electric from the start, but Taylor Lautner definitely had the surprise card up his sleeve! Half of the audience squealed with delight upon the first sighting of Jacob Black's chiseled abs, and the response was equally as deafening when we caught a glimpse of Edward Cullen's sparkly goodness a little bit later.

While there wasn't nearly enough Edward in New Moon, there was a reason for that and I definitely felt Bella's pain when she pined for her lover. Speaking of Bella, can I just say how gorgeous Kristen looked? She wore very minimal makeup, and there are numerous scenes where she's supposed to be worn out and depressed, yet she still looked stunning! It's easy to see why Rob can't keep his hands off of her, and I'm happy to report that there was a lot more smooching between the lovebirds in this installment of the Twilight franchise.

So what else did I love? Dakota Fanning was a fantastic and deliciously evil Jane Volturi, and Michael Sheen's take on Aro Volturi was just as impressive. Ashley Greene's Alice is the vampire I'd most like to be friends with, and I'm going to download the soundtrack as soon as I'm done writing this blog. Yeah, it was that good!

So what's NOT to love about the movie? For one, the CGI on the wolves was a bit laughable, but if you're a true Twilover and you're caught up in the movie, it almost doesn't even matter. The plot took off rather rapidly during the third act, and there were a few points where the dialogue made me cringe, but that happens with just about every movie so I'm not going to get too picky. New Moon isn't supposed to be an Oscar contender, it's supposed to be a huge blockbuster with a die hard fan following. If its midnight ticket sales on Thursday are any indication of the numbers it's going to pull this weekend, it's safe to say that this is THE biggest movie of the year. Nice work, guys. I give it a B-plus.

New Moon has broken the record for highest opening-day gross ever! Summit Entertainment is reporting that New Moon earned $72.7 million on Friday, topping The Dark Knight’s previous record of $67.2 million.

More work-related trouble for Lindsay Lohan!

After the 23-year-old starlet tried to make off with $15,000 worth of goodies at Kitson last week, it looks like the high end retailer has Lindsay on their naughty list, as they seem to be hinting at pulling her overpriced leggings from the store!

A rep for Kitson told Fox's Poptarts:

“We're actually really offended. The tables have turned and now we're the customer. We spent $50,000 on her leggings line, but she hasn't come to the store in three years, and she didn't even do a personal appearance. She should have brought cookies for the staff to thank them for selling her leggings because she does nothing. We don't know if we'll continue to carry them.”

Burn! I'm sure Lindsay could find other ways to hawk her product, but that's a huge slap in the face! These days it seems like nobody wants anything to do with her...so what can she do to change that? And how long will it take her to earn back the respect she once had in this town?

...she wears sweatpants!

Sure, they're paired with a sorta vampy looking leather jacket, but clearly this girl has a sensible side hidden under her peroxided, tough girl exterior! Maybe that's why Kanye loves her?

Yesterday afternoon we snapped LeAnn Rimes leaving a real estate office in Calabasas, and it appears as though the homewrecking honey is looking for a new love nest!

The house she's been living in (you know, the one in the same gated community as Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife!) is a rental, so the country star is starting the house hunting process all over again. While Eddie wasn't with her, you can bet he'll be moving in ASAP!

Have you seen New Moon yet? Because let me tell you, the 12 minutes of Taylor Lautner shirtless will have you howling with delight!

We caught a glimpse of the teenage stud muffin while he was doing an interview with The Today Show in NYC, and while we're bummed that he was fully clothed, we're happy that his film has been doing so well at the box office!

She may not be able to throw a ball like her husband David, but she could show her boys a thing or two about singing and fashion!

We spotted Victoria Beckham and her three sons at a local park today, and while she wasn't teaching them how to lip synch or spell Louboutin, she played the role of Beverly Hills baseball mom quite well!

Last night Liv Tyler was so overwhelmed by photographers outside of the Neil George salon, she walked up to a police officer and asked for assistance getting to her car. Yikes!

Liv definitely had a hard time seeing where she was going, but once she got into her car, she calmed down and cracked a smile. Heck, she even joked around with her pal and our photographers about the "nerdy" glasses she put on for her drive home.
