Okay, so Britney didn't really leave rehab, she just went to an AA meeting in Santa Monica -- her first field trip outside of the treatment facility, that we know of, and Britney was in good spirits and looking wonderful! Britney was smiling and happy and -- I may be going out on a limb here -- seemingly happy to see us!

Lindsay Lohan and her mother Dina haven't always been on the best terms, but both looked pleased as punch as Lindsay's family left to head back to New York. Then again, what mother wouldn't want to see their daughter as firmly committed to the road to recovery as Lindsay's been lately? We may have been catching Lindsay in some compromising situations lately, but all reports state that she's been avoiding the temptations that got her in trouble in the first place - and as you can see from her big smile in these pictures, her abstinence has done wonders for her demeanor!

X17 has obtained these images of Paris Hilton last night outside the parking garage at the Virgin Megastore in West Hollywood, as cops stopped her for driving without her headlights. Paris' car was towed and she was cited for driving with a suspended license.

Gwyneth Paltrow was perfectly lovely when we happened upon the actress out doing her errands today, unfortunately she's so soft-spoken, we could hardly make out a word she said, including a final comment on Britney Spears -- can anyone translate?

An X17 spy was out on Sunset Blvd. last night and saw Paris Hilton stopped by police while leaving the Virgin Megastore around 10:30 pm. Our source said her car was taken by the cops and towed away. The X17er thought at first that Paris was again being arrested on suspicion of DUI but as it turned out she was just driving on a suspended license and was given a ticket.

Vicky took the plunge and, perhaps in an effort to fit in with her Angelino counterparts, she lightened her locks and went blonde. We caught her out today shopping after news that she might TV cameras into her life to document the family's move to LA. I think she's looking pretty hot -- I'll give her points just for being daring.

We spotted these two sharing coffee, cigarettes and a smooch yesterday in Hollywood!

I have one message to relate to the children, it's this: Being on TV makes atrociously hot women come to you.
