Britney was uncharacteristically solemn when we saw her yesterday going to the nail salon and the Carl's Jr. drive thru. She played coy when we asked her for the millionth time about the rumored HOB performance(s?) this week, but her giggle when we asked her about her date with Howie Day last night practically gave her away! Could he be more than just a rehab rebound?

Heidi Klum wasn't the only celeb to spend a day at the beach with her family, we also spotted Dr. McDreamy, Patrick Dempsey, out with wife Jillian, twins Darby and Sullivan and daughter Tallulah in Malibu yesterday!

Usually, when we say we caught celebs out clubbing, we're talking about catching them out at Hyde or Parc - but not yesterday afternoon! The Trump National Golf Course played host to the 9th annual Michael Douglas and Friends Celebrity Golf Tournament, and a who's who of, er, Michael Douglas' friends showed up to whack a few balls around. Lindsay hit the Neil George salon on Friday (in a new Porsche) before making the trek out to Coachella. The rumor mill's been abuzz lately with stories of Lindsay and fellow DJ Samantha Ronson being more than just friends! Ya think Linds spent the weekend at Coachella with Samantha...and a hundred thousand other sweaty music fans?

With the weather beginning to warm up as summer comes on, it's no surprise to see celebrities choosing a new club to bring the heat - and right now, there's nowhere hotter than Parc! Or at least that certainly was the case last night when Jessica Biel showed up - we caught the booty queen herself being escorted back to her car (and just moments before we spotted Grey's Anatomy star Kate Walsh, too)! Of course, any successful nightclub's going to draw its share of z-listers like Kato Kaelin or Jaleel "Urkel" White (although both of them happened to get into Parc just fine) - but hey, that's why they make velvet ropes, right?

Dressed like an extra from Jailhouse Rock, Posh left LA last night after a jam-packed weekend of shopping and more shopping! Posh apparently settled on a 20 million dollar Beverly Hills estate before jetting back to England. We can't wait to have her as our neighbor!

Heidi, Seal and Co. spent a relaxing Sunday at the Beach yesterday. But it certainly was no "day at the beach" for the paparrazzi, who got a severe tongue lashing from Papa Seal for trying to take their picture! Regardless, the family looked like they were having a great time, as Leni and Henry frolicked in the waves while little Johan got in a little Mommy & Me time.

The Princess (Anne Hathaway) and the Playmate, (Nicole Narain of the Colin Farrell sex tape scandal) were dining at Koi! Nicolette Sheridan and Michael Bolton also ate at the hip LA eaterie, but hid from the cameras on their way out! Devon Aoki wasn't quite so camera shy, she posed with several fans and Katie Castillo talked about working with Quentin Tarantino! Meanwhile, Kanye West was uncharacteristically camera shy when he and his fiancee dined across town at Mr. Chow's.

We spotted Jessica Simpson heading out to Dresden for dinner last night, but with the way she had her boobs hiked up almost to her neck, we couldn't have missed her if we tried! Aside from the girls, however, Jessica was dining solo - too bad John Mayer wasn't around to take in the view!

Mind you, we're not talking about a Playboy bunny get-up - the Baywatch beauty had a PETA commitment on Saturday which saw her helpfully holding the head of her stage-mate's rabbit-wear. But animal rights turned out to be Pammy's second-most pressing issue of the day - considering the way she hustled over to her son's baseball game, family values comes first with Pam!

Indio, California's a long way away from Los Angeles - so it's hardly a surprise that Lindsay Lohan needed to make a pit stop on her way to Coachella! We caught up with her at the Extra Mile convenience store just outside Palm Springs as she made her way to the music festival, although as soon as she got back on the highway she burned rubber away from our cameramen. Hopefully she was able to stock up on water before she took off - Voss can be awfully hard to come by at Coachella!

The saga continues...After a hard day of dancing (rehearsing?), Britney visited her favorite fast food haunt, Del Taco, Saturday night. (This was before her date with Howie!) When we asked her about the secret performance rumors earlier that day, she pretended she didn't know what we were talking about, but when we asked her again that night, we got a different reaction! Was she just so tired that her guard was down?

Down under, that is! Little Richie joined her boyfriend Joel and his brother Benji in Australia for their gig hosting the MTV Australia VMAs this weekend. Benji's fiancee Sophie Monk was also there for red carpet duties...I'm sure they made quite the foursome!

This time last year, we were all over Kate Bosworth for how dangerously diminutive she'd become. Now, however, we'd like to be all over her for a whole different set of reasons! We're pleased to report that the Blue Crush beauty appears to be over her love affair with lettuce-only lunches - hell, when we spotted her on the beach in Hawaii over the weekend and couldn't help but stare! She's still an incredibly slender girl, of course, but we here at X17 have no problem with waify-framed girls - it's when their ribcages start looking like xylophones that we start shaking our heads!

Posh's whirlwind trip to LA this weekend included getting in a little shopping time on Sunset with BFF, Katie Holmes. Since Posh is now going to be a permanent fixture in LA, Katie's gonna have to step up her style if she's gonna hang with the Lady in Red! Not that Katie doesn't look cute too (at least she's dressed her age!), but she could definitely take some more cues from her fashionista friend.

X17 broke the story of Britney and romantic rocker Howie Day hitting it off on the tennis courts at Promises and now X17 brings you the XCLUSIVE pix of the two outside of rehab and still hitting it off!

Brit and Howie met up at The Bridge, one of Britney's favorite restaurants and then drove by nightclubs Element, Les Deux, and Parc before stopping at Teddy's.

The handsome couple went inside and did who knows what and then went back to Brit's house (with Howie at the wheel of Britney's Mercedes) and did who knows what!? Our photogs were there until 5 am and Howie still hadn't left ...

Britney and her cousin Alli went house hunting in Malibu yesterday -- is she tired of Bel Air already? We asked her about rumors of a surpriseperformance at the House of Blues next week, but Brit looked like she had no idea what we were talking about!

Back on the road, Britney almost let her top fly off -- her hat caught air and Brit held her wig tight before it too flew away. A photog got it and gave it back to her.

Then it was off to her daily rehearsal at Millennium where we saw what we presume to be evidence of a surprise performance: several costumed dancers on stilts, wigs and feather boas in Brit's car, and Britney's show-stopping barely-there outfit.

Brit took a quick break from dancing to do a little shopping at the Naked Baby Boutique near the dance studio, before returning for more dancing (rehearsing?).

Gwyneth indroduced her young daughter to one of the finer things in LA - shopping! Gwyneth took Apple to pick through the racks at Maxfield's on Melrose on a sunny Saturday. Wonder if Gwynnie picked up a designer blanket for her daughter's third birthday next month?

We're accustomed to spotting Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott out and about, but we're still wrapping our minds around the fact that now we'll be catching them with their son Liam too! Luckily for us, the kid's completely adorable - just watch how docile and wide-eyed he is as daddy Dean cradles him in his arms. Or maybe he was just checking out Dean rocking his pacifier - to be fair, it was quite a sight!

X17 was on the scene XCLUSIVELY Friday night as Britney Spears found herself being pulled over by the Beverly Hills police! Brit was driving to the pharmacy after a long day of dance at Millennium, when out of nowhere, a motorcycle cop threw on his lights and motioned her over to the side!

Although we can't say for sure why Britney found herself talking to the cops, our photog seemed to think it had something to do with her driving without plates and her windows sporting some serious tint. And she appeared to have trouble finding her registration which would explain the worried look on her face. Nevertheless, the incident passed fairly quickly and the cop apparently elected to let Britney off with a warning.

Update -- Police say Britney was pulled over for allegedly speeding.

No secrets here -- Queen Vic's headlights were on high beam today as she arrived in LA, reportedly to get to work on decorating the new $20 million Beckham castle in Beverly Hills. Believe it or not, Vicki was actually wearing a bra -- nude color, underwire, to be exact, but with all the flashes on her thin black sleeveless sweater, there's just no secret what's underneath.

Paula Abdul may be the queen of American Idol, but last night at the airport she found herself face to face with the King! Paula was chatting away with the paparazzi about all kinds of subjects - her two male companions, her picks for Idol, etc. - when we happened to spot a pair of Elvis impersonators lurking in the background, and we couldn't possibly have passed up the photo op! Fortunately, Paula was all too happy to oblige - thank you, thank you very much!
