A heroic Hayden Panettiere optioned for this angelic new look during her Heroes DVD promotional tour in Paris, France. And while strolling around near the George V Hotel - with co-stars Adrian Pasdar and Milo Ventimiglia - neither of our two favorite Hayden hanger-ons (mom Lesley or b/f Stephen) could be found.But what's going on here? Milo looks awfully happy to be mingling with his cheerleading co-star... and you know Stephen would not be happy about it!

So, the VMA's are going to be a little less spectacular now - troubled singer Amy Winehouse is pulling out of the Sept. 9th performance. First her U.S. tour, now this? What's going on with young celebs today! Rehab is in and recovery is out. But whatever happened to just being stable, balanced?

Amy is currently vacationing in the Caribbean. If that doesn't cure her, I dunno what will!

Yes, we've got bad news for Beatles fans - according to a "well-informed source" who spoke to the Silicon Valley Insider, next week's much-rumored rollout of Fab Four songs on the popular service won't be going through after all. The two parties had been seemingly close to resolving their eternal quarrel over the name "Apple" (the company created by the Beatles in 1967 to watch over their interests), but this news would indicate otherwise. Too bad - all that new revenue would have made a perfect (if slightly late) birthday gift for rights-holder Michael Jackson!

And BTW, Happy Birthday to Michael!!! Bitch is 49 years young and Off The Wall is still one of my favorite albums!

Out photographers just turned in these photos of Nicole Richie returning to the RFD organic cafe for lunch - and in the process of sprinting into the restaurant, she sprinted right by one of our guys and gave him a great shot of her infamous belly bump in profile! (To be fair, Nicole also demonstrated that she's gotten a lot healthier since finding herself in a motherly way - granted, she's still an incredibly petite girl, but just consider how small she was before getting pregnant!)

According to the latest rumor making the rounds (courtesy of EW), not only is Britney Spears' big comeback single slated to hit the radio this weekend, but it's coming courtesy of one of the hottest producers in the game today - Timbaland protege Nate "Danja" Hills! Yes, Timbaland's ear for talent seems to have paid off again; over the last few years, Danja's been an invaluable asset to Tim, helping craft the intricate synth-swooshes of songs like Justin Timberlake's "My Love" and Nelly Furtado's "Maneater". But don't go thinking Danja's just a cog in a machine - as his immaculate job on DJ Khaled's "We Takin' Over" ably demonstrates, he knows damn well how to come up with a hot beat on his own!

Sounds like Britney's picked herself a winner - now all we have to do is wait for "Gimme More" to hit the internet radio to hear for sure!

We caught Sheryl Crow leaving Il Sole last night alone (no baby, no best Friend), and when a photog asked her what she thought on the Britney and Kevin situation, she replied, "that's ridiculous!"

Keanu was a total gentleman the other night when he escorted his female friend to a town car, holding the door open for her to climb in first before getting in himself. He might look a little rough around the edges, but this edgy guy seems to have his manners firmly in place!

Nicole Richie may have been turning over a new leaf ever since finding herself to be with child, but don't go expecting her to give up all her old ways just yet - last night, for instance, we caught her out with infamous socialite Samantha Ronson! Ronson, best known for accompanying Lindsay Lohan during one of her lower moments, escorted the diminutive diva back to her car after dinner in a hurry. We're all for famous folks befriending each other, but jeez, Nicole - don't you think your baby's going to have enough celebrity aunties as it is?

According to News of the World (who quoted a Cirque Lodge "insider"), Lindsay was found in a compromising position inside of one of the bathrooms she was supposed to be cleaning - with an attractive fellow rehabber! Dirty girl! According to the source, Lindsay's been talking about nothing but returning to the party scene since she arrived in Utah, and this latest romp is just another attempt at rebellion. Although she's looked nothing but happy, healthy and committed to getting better since we've seen her at Cirque Lodge!

Although it pales in comparison to the relief we felt upon learning that Owen Wilson's recent suicide attempt wasn't successful, we were still saddened to hear that the troubled actor has dropped out of the upcoming Ben Stiller movie Tropic Thunder, as reported by People. Still, it's a relief to see that he's approaching the recovery process seriously - after all, you know Owen wouldn't leave his friend Ben hanging if he could help out!

(Unfortunately, this means we won't get the chance to see Owen goin' toe-to-comedic-toe with Alan Partridge himself - the actor's Tropic Thunder co-star was slated to be British comic star Steve Coogan himself. Of course, if there's any truth to Courtney Love's recent allegations (as reported by the Daily Mail) that Coogan's friendship "fueled Wilson's drug use - reportedly heroin and cocaine", perhaps there's a silver lining to this cloud!)

Labor Day is just around the corner, but summer's not really over until Matthew McConaughey puts on a shirt!

Tireless humanitarian Angelina Jolie was off on another goodwill mission yesterday, this one to Iraq. Angelina visited the Al Waleed refugee camp in Iraq yesterday, where she spent some time with some of the 1300 refugees currently unable to leave the camp for nearby Syria. The actress, mother-of-four and goodwill ambassador kinda makes those of us with only one job feel like we could be doing more!

Page Six is reporting that Dina has decided to lift the restraining order against her ex in order to allow him to visit his eldest in rehab (though not alone). The meeting is supposedly taking place sometime this week. Lindsay hasn't seen Michael in years, so the father-daughter reunion is certain to be emotional.

It can be quite an experience to find yourself eyeball to eyeball with Britney Spears - especially when she forgets to put one of her contacts in (check out that top pic)! Yes, the pop princess accidentally left one of her lenses out before going shopping at Club Monaco, presumably for the more modest black garment she wore out of the store. Looks like filling up and feeding the meter weren't the only things to slip Britney's mind yesterday!

How appropriate is it that Hayden Panettiere's character on Heroes happens to be a cheerleader? When we spotted the show's cast gathering for an appearance in Paris to promote the first season's release on DVD, she couldn't have drawn more cheers from the throngs of shrieking, chanting fans if she'd had a pair of pom-poms readily at hand! Still, Hayden handled it like a pro, smiling and waving back at the fans (and sincerely thanking a few lucky diehards who were able to slip her a late birthday present). Gooooo Hayden!

(One person who might have kept quiet, however, is Hayden's recalcitrant boyfriend Stephen Colletti - after all, the sight of your girl all over a guy like Milo Ventimiglia sounds like a great way to dampen your spirit!)

It's definitely been a bad car day for our girl Brit! After running out of gas earlier this afternoon, Britney went home for a breather. Then she went out again (her bodyguard by her side) and, while parked on Rodeo and Camden in Beverly Hills, her brand new Mercedes received a parking ticket! Let's hope this is the last car-related event in Brit's day - she's had enough!

Actually, don't even bother - it's obviously Britney Spears! The Cajun cutie held up one of the Boston rockers' CDs as she made her way out of Starbucks' parking lot yesterday afternoon with her son Sean in the backseat. Hey, it's never too early to start acquainting your kids with the classics!

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly has learned that Brit's fifth album will debut as early as next week, and the single - an up-tempo club cut produced by Timbaland protege Nate 'Danjahandz' Hills entitled "Gimme More" - is "a smash," reports an insider. Another source raves that "people are going to love [the new single]." So exciting!

The drama never ends - not that there's anything wrong with that! If you're not watching Laguna Beach Goes To L.A. The Hills, you're seriously missing out. Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag are still enemies - but it seems like they both kinda miss each other, right? - and Spencer is still a tool, but are we going to learn more about the L.C. rumors that Heidi claims (in the teaser for next week's episode) Brody Jenner started?

And then there's Justin Bobby. Don't even get me started. If he stays in the picture - and it looks like he just might - will there be trouble ahead for L.C. and Audrina's friendship?

Not one, not two, but three generations of Wattses assembled to eat lunch together at Lily's yesterday afternoon - Naomi, of course, but also her mother and grandmother to boot! We're thrilled to see the Aussie star placing such a high premium on family now that she's got one of her own. Now we just need to work on getting her to loosen up around the press!

Former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Elle McPherson covered up her famous curves as she took to the waves in her native Australia. Being that it's the end of their winter right now we can't blame her for wanting to keep warm, but it's definitely a look we're not used to seeing on her!

We caught Nick Lachey's main squeeze shopping in Beverly Hills yesterday and we couldn't help noticing how that see-thru top really shows off her figure! (Maybe a little too much?)
