Sophie kept her head down and her ear glued to her phone as she went for a jog (walk?) around Beverly Hills yesterday. In a city known for hosting high profile car accidents, she might want to keep her head up!

Russell took his eldest son Charles Halloween costume shopping in Los Angeles Tuesday night. But the Crowes left empty-handed when little Charles got scared! Awww, just don't look at this, Chuck, and you won't get scared!

To say that the news that American Gangster, the hotly-anticipated forthcoming release from Jay-Z, had hit the 'net without authorization must have come as a shock to the record-company execs - after all, according to Idolator, in an effort to curtail leaks, they'd only sent out fifteen copies! Imagine their surprise, then, when they traced the leaked mp3s back to the watermarks on the discs they'd mailed out to discover that, according to Idolator, no less than thirteen of the fifteen journalists had uploaded tracks to the web!

Yes, that's right - according to an interview the former boy-bander gave to E! News earlier today (as quoted by OK! Magazine), he tied the knot with a woman (whom Lance refuses to identify) back between 1999 and 2000 - purely for the free drinks! "The only reason we did it is because we wanted to get free drinks all night...and we didn't get one," the magazine quotes him as saying. "We're like, 'We just got married,' and they're like, 'Ah, whatever.'" Poor Lance - but then again, those are the risks you run when you don't set up a registry!

Paris and ex Stavros Niarchos were at Hyde! (The Hilton heiress later made a 7-11 stop.) Wonder if those two had much to talk about! What's with all these odd unions as of late? There's Paris and Stavros at Hyde, not to mention Lauren Conrad's lunch with Brody Jenner's ex Nicole Richie, who's Paris' former BFF. Talk about six degrees of celebrity separation!

Our European correspondents caught Amy Winehouse taking her leave after performing at L'Ancienne Belgique last night. Hey, with Amy's history of failing to appear at her own concerts (which has already led the producers of the next James Bond flick to drop her), we figured her fans might appreciate some cold hard proof that she's starting to change her ways!

Our videographers just caught Britney Spears' loyal assistant Alli Sims heading out in search of fishnets - for her Halloween costume, of course! Sadly, she wasn't willing to get into specifics as to what her costume might be. Still - if she's shopping for fishnets, we're guessing her costume tonight's going to be even hotter than the Tony Romo get-up she broke out over the weekend!

Smokin' hot, that is! Or maybe smoking mad since she had to publicly denounce claims that she was smoking while pregnant!

Nicole, rocking her maternity style, stopped by Joan's on Third for lunch with friends, which included Samantha Ronson and Lauren & Audrina from The Hills!!! Lauren & Audrina? WTF, is she giving them tips on how to graduate from reality stars to rock star babymamas?

Looks like Prison Break fans won't be seeing Lane Garrison anytime soon - People is reporting that the troubled actor has been sentenced to forty months in state prison (in addition to making restitution to his victims' families). The good news - as it were - for Garrison is that the forty months only constitutes half of the maximum sentence he had been facing. Still, that's an awfully long time to spend in prison with your thoughts - and given the contrition Lane's expressed in the past (the article quotes him as saying that the actor is "sickened by my behavior on that night. My thoughts keep coming back to that night."), we're guessing his time'll be extra hard!

Knocked up or not, it sounds like Christina Aguilera's not giving up her Halloween plans! When we spotted Xtina leaving an upholstery store with husband Jordan Bratman last night, our questions centered around what the pregnant pop star might be wearing tonight. Unfortunately, she kept her lips zipped as to her precise plans - although at least she confirmed (rather enthusiastically, we might add!) that she'd be dressing up!

Ryan Seacrest woke Britney up this morning to talk to her on air live (on KIIS FM) about the release of her new album, how she celebrated its official release, and what her plans for Halloween are!

On Blackout:

Britney cited "Heaven on Earth" as her favorite track, because it's "different from all the other ones."

On how she celebrated her album's release last night:

Britney said she spent a quiet night at home with Alli and Sam, eating "fried chicken and cookies" and watching a movie.

On her Halloween plans:

Alli said they plan on party-hopping around Beverly Hills tonight, but would not divulge what other costume Britney plans on donning for the holiday.

Guess we'll just have to find out tomorrow!

Don't get me wrong, Lance Armstrong is one hot guy, but puttin' the moves on the barely legal (to drink, anyway) 21-year-old Ashley Olsen is a little creepy! According to the NY Post, Ashley "sat on his lap" and the two were "making out all night" at the Gramercy Park Hotel. Maybe after all that time with the older men of Full House, Ashley developed a daddy complex?

After a night of celebrating, Britney laid low, going incognito in this grey dress and hat in Beverly Hills Tuesday night. Showing off her toned legs, Brit stopped by a friend's house for about 10 minutes before returning home.

Photogs also say they spotted a tour bus parked at Britney's house -- could she be gearing up for a Blackout Tour???

It's been a good week to be homeless in Hollywood - not only might you have gotten your hands on a copy of Blackout, but you might have even gotten a free lapdance to boot! We spotted our old pal Annette Harper, uh, giving back to the community last night. Apparently she's got a show on VH1 where she claims to "punk people" - looks like she just punk'd herself!

After hopping on the good foot at Hyde, Paris Hilton stopped by a West Hollywood 7-11 last night to load up on snacks before heading home. She may not have had anything to report to the paps - but her smile and her sparkling dress brightened up our night nonetheless!

The Hills star Lauren Conrad was lookin' a little lost (not to mention uncomfortable) when she exited a crowded Les Deux Tuesday night, sporting this sexy sailor outfit. Halloween is definitely a time to pull out your inner slut child, but Lauren shoulda been workin' that short skirt instead of worryin' about it!

After touching down yesterday afternoon, Emma Bunton had some pressing business to attend to - like shopping! The whole Bunton brood - Emma, husband Jade, and infant son Beau Lee - headed out to Macy's before hitting up Bristol Farms for dinner. In fact, she only separated from them when the press started asking if she had any messages for Spice Girls fans so that she could blow them all a big kiss!

No, not her dad - someone else's! Apparently, Lindsay Lohan's press entourage presented a few problems for an anonymous parent yesterday afternoon as one of the photogs (not ours) cut him off and "endangered his daughter". The enraged man ended up jumping out of his car to confront the paps, smacking one guy's camera (again, not ours) around and, according to the photogs on the scene, even taking a swipe at the now-infamous pint-sized paparazzo! Good job, dude - now you're going to get charged with "assault and battery to a minor"!

Britney Spears' fans may have a few more days to wait for Blackout's official chart statistics to surface - but in the meantime, all y'all can rest easy knowing you've made the Queen B very happy! We've just heard back from an X17 source who saw Britney out at Winston's the night of Blackout's release - who's reporting that Britney was "smiling and having fun and looked like she was really celebrating the release of her CD"! Better yet, it sounds like Brit's high spirits were completely naturally induced - our source goes on to say that "she wasn't drunk at all - she seemed awake and aware of her surroundings...At times she did get up and dance on the couch - not for long and nothing too crazy but again she was having fun and expressing herself"!

Sounds like Britney had a blast - and it's all thanks to y'all!

Seems like the mystery of Brit's traffic stop might have been solved: Brit's Darkside license plate! Britney was let off with just a warning, but she should be issued a ticket for looking that sexy, y'all!
