That's certainly been the rumor, and it's spread to the point where the actress' IMDB page has her listed with the rest of the cast (granted, with a disclaimer - but still)! Abbie Cornish is refreshing and truly talented. Her portrayal as Candy opposite Heath Ledger (in the best movie nobody saw in 2006: "Candy") was the greatest film of all! Abbie would make a smokin' Bond woman. Smokin'!!!

"sweet home alabama" is one (weak) comedy on the blip of a full career for Ms. Witherspoon.
