Adam Levine and his tatted up guns made another appearance at the Chateau Marmont today, but new lady love Cameron Diaz was nowhere in sight! Maybe they've picked a new rendezvous spot? I'm sure we'll catch them again soon - stay tuned!

X17 revealed earlier today about the big date between Charlie's Angels' Cameron Diaz and Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine at the Chateau Marmont yesterday afternoon... hmm, Adam's been with many lovely Hollywood ladies and Cam has seen her fair share of breakups and disappointments. Could it be that these two are right for each other?

We now have MORE info from another photog on the scene: He tells us:

Cameron was unusually happy and she almost WANTED to be seen with Adam. They were drawing attention to themselves in the hotel, trying to get people to look at them."

And Cam even had her mom there at the end! Meet the parents???

Afterward, Adam - who's staying in the hotel - returned to his room with a great big smile on his face. Wonder why!

X17 photogs spotted perpetually single Cameron Diaz meeting up with Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine yesterday at the Chateau Marmont garden restaurant for what appeared to be a DATE!!!

The pair arrived separately around 1 pm and stayed for just over an hour. An X17 photographer tells X17online:

"They looked really excited to be together. It didn't seem like the first time they met - they were comfortable with each other. Cameron was laughing at all of Adam's jokes and they seemed like such a perfect match. They were even dressed alike!"

The pair left in good spirits and headed their separate ways but we have a feeling this won't be the last time they hook up!

NOTE: Jessica Simpson dated Adam way back when AND JSimp dated John Mayer, who also dated Cameron. Talk about six degrees!

Last night, X17 spies spotted Simpson at Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine's Halloween House party. After the party, photogs caught the busty songstress driving thru Wendy's for a late night snack. Hmmm, what could the pair, who famously hooked up right after (?) she separated from Nick, have done at that party to make her so hungry???

For the second night in a row, we spotted Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and his girlfriend Rebecca out on the town, although this time they played things Koi instead of going to Guy's. Naturally, we had to ask Adam for a comment on yesterday's biggest story, but the chart-topping crooner danced around our questions with the grace of a thousand Karina Smirnoffs. On the plus side, however, he did get to spring a joke he'd been waiting to make!

Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine was caught getting dinner with his girlfriend Rebecca this past weekend. Hmm. It looks like they're, uh, having a pretty good time for just going out to dinner!
