Kate Hudson helped loosen up her boy toy A-Rod before the big game tonight at a lunch with pals yesterday at Cannery Seafood in Newport Beach.

The couple is staying in a luxury hotel in the seaside town so Rodriguez is close to Anaheim for the Yankees' games against the LA Angels. And Kate is oh so happy to be a part of the excitement of the playoffs.

We've spotted the pair out to dinner, shopping, out the lunch, hanging at the hotel -- Alex is certainly enjoying the Southern California weather and his beach blonde girlfriend but shouldn't he be practicing?

The rumors that Kate's knocked up with A-Rod's baby are false, says her rep.

Brad Cafarelli told Gatecrasher that reports that Kate's expecting a little A-Rod are false, despite the fact that pix of her looking a bit plumper are making the rounds.

But sometimes being happy can make you gain weight, and X17online can exclusively report that when we spotted the happy couple out at Giorgio Baldi last week, Kate was drinking wine!

So what's in her belly is most likely a meatball - not a little ball of joy!

Last night Kate Hudson and her boy toy du jour dined at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, and the low key couple did their very best to evade photogs as they snuck out of the restaurant afterwards. These two certainly enjoy their privacy, as they are seldom photographed out in public, but they definitely aren't trying to keep their romance a secret any longer. Aww, maybe Kate has finally found true love with Madonna's ex?

He's been rumored to have hooked up with everyone from the Material Mom to a Real Housewife, but now, the NY Post is claiming A-Rod is scoring with Kate Hudson!

In addition to catching the slugger's game last Friday at Yankee stadium, the pair apparently had a private after-party at Mustang Grill!

A bartender was reportedly "asking patrons not to go in the back room around 1 a.m. because A-Rod and Kate Hudson were back there making out." A waitress at the joint confirmed that they were there together, but didn't confirm whether or not A-Rod even made it to first base.

Additionally, Kate was spotted outside A-Rod's Central Park West apartment (you know, the one he got to be closer to Madonna?) over the weekend before heading back to LA.

It wouldn't be the first time these two hooked up -- earlier this year they were also spotted canoodling at NY's Rose Bar.

Maybe A-Rod is just Kate's NY location-ship?

Despite the fact that she's moved on with a much younger man, A-Rod is still talking about the woman who allegedly broke up his marriage. He gave just a few deets to Details on the current state of their relationship.

“Well, we’re friends...I have a lot of respect for her...She’s very smart and she’s passionate about everything she does...if there ever was any situation, she’s a great ear to have, you know?”

Just a great ear? She may be fifty but she's still got a great bod!

Even though Madonna may have taken up with a hot Brazilian while on her Sticky & Sweet tour (hey, what happens on tour, stays on tour!), it seems like she may have rekindled her romance with Alex Rodriguez!

Page Six reports that the recently divorced pair spent the weekend at the Hampton home of Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld!

But it wasn't all fun and games for Madge and A-Rod...apparently Madonna was fuming after seeing these raw and un-touched-up publicity stills hit the web!

Hopefully A-Rod helped her to relax!

IF Madonna dumped A-Rod, is he looking for love (in all the wrong places)?

So first, DID Madonna kick A-Rod to the curb? If not, why's she hanging with Jesus in Brazil and then this other guy at the Waverly Inn in NYC the other night AND why hasn't she seen Mr. Yankees recently?

So then, if A-Rod's on the market, would he get it on with Kate Hudson? Well that's what the New York Post is reporting ... They say he and Kate had a three-hour meal together at Lure Fishbar in New York and then continued the love-fest at the Rose Bar.

Could you see these two together? She DOES have some interesting taste - Chris Robinson, Lance Armstrong ... Alex Rodriguez???

While Madge is off gallivanting around the globe (Brazil, specifically) with a new man, Donna Karan was on vacay with A-Rod and pals including Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, where Page Six reports the sexagenarian couldn't keep her eyes off the slugger!

A-Rod apparently got "very close to [Karan] who only had eyes for him and followed him around all night on New Year's Eve."

So should Madonna be worried about the woman who's ten years her senior?

Not really, apparently Karan struck out with Alex, who is "still hung up on Madonna."

Damn, we woulda loved to have seen a cougar fight between these two!

He may claim they're "just friends", and she may not be willing to let him move in with him, but Madge is certainly willing to move him closer to her, according to Gatecrasher.

The Material girl is apparently helping the NY slugger find a "suitable" new home (i.e. big enough for her and all her kids, close to Madonna's own apartment).

Says an "insider":

"Before his divorce, Alex was searching for houses on the upper East Side and Madonna offered to help him. She wanted Alex to have a big house that would be suitable for kids, and she didn't want a building with a nosy doorman who would talk. Madonna wanted a place where they could go and be together without prying eyes. They don't want to be in the same apartment, but they do want to be near one another."

The spy goes on to say:

"Alex and Madonna are very, very cozy. Yes, they are intimate, and they are intoxicated with one another. Alex can't get over that he's with Madonna."

BUT

"This isn't a deep and serious love affair. It will last as long as Madonna wants it to," says the source. "She could get five or six years out of it - but only if it's in her best interest to keep him around."

Sounds like Alex better look into renting before he decides to buy!

Are Madonna and Alex Rodriguez already looking to shack up?!?

Apparently so, according to Page Six. They're reporting the alleged couple are "discreetly looking at properties" in NYC's super-posh Upper East Side.

"Madonna personally came to look at one house a couple of months ago, and Alex has been looking recently," the source told P6.

These two aren't looking for a small love nest either, they've got their sights set on something a little more grand.

"We're talking about private, double-width mansions in the vicinity of $30 million to $60 million," the source said.

Madge's rep didn't respond to the story, but A-Rod's peeps denied the pair were house hunting.

It would seem that Alex has bigger real estate worries to deal with first. He's still trying to unload his four-bedroom apartment he shared with ex-wife Cynthia. He just dropped the price from $14 Mil down to $10 Mil and he's even will to rent the place out for $50K a month!

Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez had quite a busy Turkey day! According to the NY Daily News, A-rod started off the day by getting brunch with Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, and then he headed to ex-wife Cynthia's pad to spend some quality time with their two daughters, Natasha and Ella.

As soon as he wrapped things up with his family, he raced over to Madonna's Star Island home, where sources say he spent the night, as evident from his black Porsche parked outside.

So it looks like A-Rod had his turkey and ate it too - the only question is, what do Cynthia and his girls think of him spending so much time with the material girl? I mean, it was just Wednesday night that he sat front row at her concert as she serenaded him with a love song!

Or not?

Earlier reports suggested that A-Rod's ex-wife Cynthia was furious about the Yankee spending the holiday with Madonna (and not with his kids), but is that what he's really doing?

A source tells Us that "it's not true. He's [A-Rod] going to be with Cynthia and her entire family for Thanksgiving, and this has been planned for months."

But why would he spend the holiday with his ex when they're on such bitter terms?

Should Madonna and A-Rod feel comfortable "coming out" with their relationship now? And is there still a relationship with which to go public?

And his soon-to-be-ex-wife Cynthia is NOT happy about the fact that Madge seems to have A-Rod wrapped around her little finger!

In an e-mail to one of her pals obtained by Access Hollywood (via Page Six), Cynthia writes:

"My 6-foot-3, 220-pound soul-less, soon-to-be ex-husband is abandoning his kids on Thanksgiving to be with Madonna . . . She called and he ran on her command back to New York City . . . Gross!"

In fact, P6 claims that not only will Alex be attending Madonna's Thanksgiving, but that he's HOSTING it in his Manhattan apartment!

Madonna and A-Rod were both in LA last week, but they were never spotted out together...course, that doesn't mean they didn't find a way to hook up!

Alex was staying at Madge's BFF and manager Guy Oseary's house, while Madonna was at her Beverly Hills Mansion. So when they wanted to see each other, we think Guy simply smuggled A-Rod into the Material Girl's house in his car!

They're both on their way to getting a divorce, so why are they going to such great lengths to hide their relationship?

And this weekend, they left for Vegas within just hours of each other. Think it's easier to sneak in the back door of a Vegas hotel than her house?
