1st of all, does anyone actually remember their first birthday or whether the cake was good or not? 2nd of all, how does the inside of Brits ass smell, X17?

She probably bought the cake that her children like the most. I think most kids would love an ice cream cake. I would want to purchase an ice cream cake just before planning to serve it so it would be freshest and best quality. I guess you think Angelina Jolie is a better mother because she spent gobs of money having a designer purse specially made for her toddler daughter, so she'd have one just like mommie. Children do not care if mother bought the cake, spent all day making the cake, or a chef made it, especially at age 1 and 2. We had simple birthday celebrations at home, just family, when the kids were that age. A big party is not for the kids but for the adults or for publicity.

I don't like Britney but people need to stop picking on her about the birthday cake. It's just a damn cake. It's not about the cake, it's how you spend time playing with your birthday boy that day.

First, the kid won't even remember his one year old birthday.

Second, your favorite fancy bakery shop might not be your kid's favorite. Kids have much different palette and taste than adults. I look back my childhood and I find that my taste bud changed so much.

Third, maybe they don't want to be followed and taken pictures twice for the cake. If they go to a bakery shop to order a cake, that's one trip. When Alli goes to pick up the cake, that's another trip. They are going to get harassed twice for the damn cake. They want to keep it low key especially after VMA. It's understandable.

I plan my kids birthday parties in advance, not the day of it. Also does she have those kids in a preschool yet? They need to interact with other kids too.
