BRITNEY SPEARS treated her custody minder to a bizarre 20-minute car ride on Wednesday (31Oct07), during which she literally drove along Sunset Boulevard, turned around and went home.
The odd sighting of the pop superstar came just an hour after she took a shower in the middle of a live radio interview with Los Angeles DJ Ryan Seacrest.
One photographer who followed Spears on her short trip out tells WENN, "She does this every single day - snappers have dubbed it 'the Britney dance'.
"You always think these stars have somewhere to go every time they leave the sanctity of their homes - but apparently not.
"Britney just drove off with this elderly woman by her side, followed by about 45 paparazzi cars. She drove around for a bit, turned round and then went home. Perhaps she just needed to get her photo taken."
