Hey, she's an actress who takes her craft seriously...er, right?

Yesterday we snapped Ugly Betty star America Ferrera on set dressed up as a giant hot dog, and while we're kind of embarrassed for her, you have to stop and remember that she's laughing all the way to the bank! I mean, the amount of money she makes in one episode is probably the same as what a Hot Dog On A Stick employee makes in one year!

America Ferrera was snapped on the set of Family Wedding in Los Angeles over the weekend, and forget the fug slippers - we're staring at a pair of something else!

Think this movie will be any good? It focuses on two overbearing dads (Forrest Whitaker and Carlos Mencia) who are forced to put aside their differences to plan their son and daughter's dream wedding...

Lucy Liu, America Ferrara and Amber Tamblyn were just a few of the many celebs who hit the premiere of James Gandolfini's Broadway play, God of Carnage, but these these girls are the ones who made the biggest impression on us for their natural beauty and their stunning over-coats!

What's underneath, however, is a different story, but at least they got it partly right!

I know America Ferrera always wears wacky stuff on Ugly Betty, but really? That dress (with those shoes and socks) is beyond heinous!

We love America Ferrera (who is totally gorge in person) and her hit ABC show, but those outfits that producers make poor Betty wear? Tragic!

We snapped America Ferrara and Becki Newton on the set of ABC's Ugly Betty in NYC yesterday, and the two starlets looked adorable despite their crazy outfits. Now that they've moved in together, think they'll become BFFs?

Nah, it's just America Ferrera and Becki Newton in character!

Check them out practicing their lines before filming some new scenes the other day. Clearly America and Becki don't have the same problems America and guest star Lindsay Lohan did - otherwise, they wouldn't be able to work together every day!

Ok, so the Emmys are no Oscars, but it's still a chance for the stars to get glammed up and strut their stuff on the red carpet!

Christina Applegate, Brooke Shields and newcomer Christina Hendricks set tongues wagging...but for very different reasons, of course!

Phoebe Price didn't fail to disappoint, Eva Longoria didn't fail to hide her food baby belly, America Ferrera proved she was a swan after all, and several stars opted for simple black and white.

Of all the trends on the red carpet this year -- jewel tones, ruffles, finger waves and blue eyeshadow (?), Heidi, America and Nicolette may not have incorporated all these trends, but their dresses were absolutely fabulous!

America chose a tea-length bubble-hemmed black frock with ruffles that accentuated her curves in all the right places. Her finger-waved hair and bright red lipstick completed the cute, age-appropriate look. Plus - she wore a necklace! Is the bare-necked trend finally over?

Heidi chose a fashion-forward Armani Prive metallic gown. At first, I wasn't sure about the one-shouldered cape, but the petal-like effect was certainly beautiful, and the whole look was bold and risky, and we loved it! As for the matching grey eye makeup, though, hates it!

Now, Nicolette, we were definitely surprised to see in a gorgeous gown in deep purple by Angel Sanchez. She usually picks dresses that show off her figure a bit, so this was a bit of a departure for her. Too bad from the neck up doesn't match from the neck down.

We cannot WAIT for the new season of Ugly Betty to start up, especially after seeing these photos from the set!

Wonder what kind of trouble Betty and her high school nemesis, Kimberly (in fuzzy boots), will get in to?

And although her character may be trouble, looks like Lindsay is staying out of it. Having finally publicly declared their love for each other, the two never looked happier or more relaxed!

America's getting ready for the ultimate baseball showdown: Mode vs. Elle!

Ferrara donned the Mode uniform in the show's new home of NYC yesterday to shoot what must be the exciting conclusion of the intramural game from last season.

America Ferrera and Blake Lively may have been the lesser-known stars of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants when the first movie was released three years ago (both Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel had been in successful series), but since then, they've both become the breakout stars of Ugly Betty and Gossip Girl.

Their star power was evident at the NYC premiere of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, where they were joined by their series' castmates!

In fact, we barely even got a glimpse of Alexis (looking stunning as usual) and Amber.

Although in Amber's case, that might not have been such a bad thing...looks like she took the title of the film too literally, that pantsuit has deffo got to go!

Stars America Ferrera and Vanessa Williams shot scenes for Ugly Betty in NYC on Thursday... we caught America in a wacky outfit and Vanessa yelling at someone - in character, of course!

We spotted Lindsay on the Betty set yesterday afternoon filming a few scenes with America Ferrerra. Are you excited to see her following up on last appearance on Betty? We sure are - her last appearance was such a tease!

America Ferrera did her best to stay cool while filming for ABC's Ugly Betty in New York yesterday, but it looks like the heat might have gotten the best of her!

First she had her own personal umbrella holder (hey, I guess when you win a Golden Globe, you get hooked up on set!), then she tested an automatic handheld fan, and finally, she tried her luck with a pleated folding fan.

We know Betty is supposed to have a wacky fashion sense, but given the weather, perhaps wardrobe could have nixed the stockings? Just saying!

The cast of Ugly Betty filmed a baseball scene in Hollywood with former supermodel slash troublemaker Naomi Campbell - and from the looks of it, catty characters Marc and Amanda are having a good time chatting her up!

Poor America Ferrera, the star of the show, just looks bored yawning in the outfield. That's so Betty - always left out of the fun!
