She has had countless surgeries for back and neck issues, is in a great deal of pain on many days and takes pain medication for that pain. Sometimes pain pills can cause a bit of a slur in a person’s voice, so cut her some slack! Also, like she said, she is just goofy, so what?! She is a nice woman, and treated you with respect; why not give her some as well!

Oh, and if you watch Hey Paula you will see that she does take some medication and is in pain. I'm sure your parents don't let you stay up that late though, so never mind.
