I was happy to see that little bastard go. He might have gotten a better response from voters had he not been such an asshole. He did it to himself by being so disrespectful.

Really poor song choice. Made him sound like Sanjaya. (Shudder...) I don't think bigotry had anything to do with it; if anything it gave him some personality. Also doubt that many of the grandmas who actually vote saw his little rant on YouTube.

The little bit I saw of him on tv, he acted like a fool, and a rude one at that. The contestants need to look appealing to the public in order to get votes, and his attitude was a big turn off. I can imagine that he lost a lot of votes because of his attitude. That's not bigotry. That's just a matter of liking or not liking someone, because of how they act, and every contestant runs that risk.

His nail picking during the whole part when they where announcing whether Chikizee or him would go home was so nasty and obnoxious!

I'm glad he's gone. I couldn't stand the constant hair flipping. The nail picking was just gross. Sure he was nervous but you're on national TV. At least put your hands in your pocket or behind your back. I have nothing against gay men but I think he was just a little too extreme and was totally annoying.

I could care less whether Danny is gay or not (which of course he is - that's a no brainer)..His attitude is what sucked.(among other things)..

Don't forget flaming Clay Aiken. He is as queer as a three dollar bill and was the runner up. That Justin guy on season one also is gay and he came in second so I don't think sexual orientation makes a difference. If it did, nude male stripper in a gay bar David would have been out and he's still there.

This season of idol is incredibly sketchy. Carly Smithson/Hennessy was signed to MCA records during the same time period that Randy Jackson was the senior vice president of A&R there.
