Wondering why the cops showed up in a big way to Amy Winehouse's, uh, house yesterday? We're wondering if it might have something to do with assault charges her husband Blake Fielder-Civil's scheduled to face this Monday - according to Yahoo, Amy's husband Blake Fielder-Civil for GBH ("grievous bodily harm", not the drug GHB) he's alleged to have inflicted on a barman. Unfortunately, the bobbies weren't able to apprehend Fielder-Civil, whom the Daily Mail saw leaving the premises "an hour before the raid". That's certainly bad news for Amy's dad - he's quoted by Yahoo as saying "If Blake were to go to jail for GBH it would probably be the best thing that could happen for Amy"!
Amy, predictably enough, wasn't available for comment - but then again, these days she's not even available to shoot her own exceptionally expensive video! According to a report in the NME, recently the sultry singer had gone on a massive bender the night before and spent the whole shoot resting on a couch - while the huge camera crew sat around waiting! "Amy sounded a bit worse for wear, as if she'd been up all night," a source tells the mag. Let's just hope she'd been up all night screaming at Blake for (allegedly) getting so violent!
