At long last, the cops admit it - Amy's not a pervert!
The Sun is reporting that Scotland Yard has declared that no charges will be brought against the singing sensation in connection to an alleged conspiracy to pervert the course of justice for her husband Blake Fielder-Civil's ongoing case.
“A 24-year-old woman arrested by appointment at an east London police station on December 18 will not be required to answer bail following advice from the Crown Prosecution Service," a Yard spokesman told the Sun. "No further action will be taken.”
Amy's rep, of course, was quick to chime in with his client's elation at her release from police scrutiny, declaring that "Amy is pleased to be discounted from the investigation and thanks the police for their professionalism in their dealings with her."
Whew! Hopefully this sets the stage for Amy to make her way across the pond again soon - as soon as she's fully rehabbed, that is!
Amy's pal Mark Ronson is set to play Coachella at the end of April - think she might make a surprise appearance to sing "Valerie"?
