How are they Angelina's security detail? If it was Mickey and his team, yes but those are uniformed Indian guards hired by the production company to secure the set. Dallington TV, the British production company that organized the shoot, blamed the incident on (who else?) the paparazzi.

"We had the full permission and cooperation of the school to film on the premises," Dallington said in a statement. "When the gates were opened to allow the parents in to collect their children, the paparazzi rushed the school, causing confusion."

According to India's Daily News & Analysis, enraged parents filed a complaint with police against the school's management and against an unnamed bodyguard, whom they accused of attacking and verbally abusing people during the encounter. Police were reportedly reluctant to accept the complaint, but eventually relented.

Also the school did not inform the parents that they had agreed to let the film use the school.
Pixs of Brad and Angelina in India always show the same four, NON UNIFORMED personal security guards that they employ. Those guards are not pictured here. Splash has a video and none of Angelina's personal security guards are shown interacting with the crowd. NONE! Only the same uniformed guards as shown above. India seems too chaotic/disorganized to make other than a Bollywood film there. A well known Bollywood actress's security was just cited in local papers for pushing people away in trying to protect her. These type interactions seem common in India.

It´s not because you don´t agree with the India authorities that you have the right to express all that negative comments about the country. Like any other country there are faillures in security and not ever every authority do the job as they should. If anything MH prodiction and Angelina or any other actor are not guilty of what happened. Unfortinately this was all a case of bad organization that could have ended pretty bad, specially, considering there are childreen involved. And FYI she was not mobbed. there were the parents and their children that were. Indian people are, in generally very respectuful people.

It's Jolie's job to make sure she doesn't hire a troupe of racist bodyguards who are inclined to commit brutal (criminal) acts against the common people. Especially when she's in another country. Angelina Jolie bodyguards bailed

Three bodyguards of Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie have been released on bail in the western Indian city of Mumbai (Bombay).

They have been charged with "insult to religion and threatening to kill" after being involved in a scuffle with parents at a Mumbai school, police say.

Jolie was filming at the Anjuman-i-Islam school at the time.

She is in India to film A Mighty Heart, based on the life of murdered US journalist Daniel Pearl.

'Upset'

Angry parents accused Jolie's bodyguards of pushing and insulting them when they came to collect their children from the school on Thursday.

Jolie's India trip is the subject of intese media interest

"Children were waiting inside for us and, when they opened the gates, those men [bodyguards] pushed our ladies and children. They also said 'You bloody Indian'. This is just not done," said parent Mohammed Yusuf Patni.

Mr Patni said parents were upset that the school allowed filming while classes were being held inside.

"There were actors dressed in Pakistani policemen's uniforms. They were holding guns which scared the children," he said.

A statement from the film producers said: "We had the full permission and co-operation of the school to film on the premises.

"Unfortunately, our arrival was impeded by the paparazzi waiting at the gates of the school.

"When the gates were opened to allow the parents in to collect their children, the paparazzi rushed into the school causing confusion."

The lawyer for the bodyguards, Mahesh Jethmalani, told the BBC the bodyguards were released on bail of 25,000 rupees each ($555).

They have been told to report to the police every day for the next seven days.

"They've basically been charged with offences related to criminal intimidation," Mr Jethmalani said.

"These are all cases of your word against mine. Looking at the circumstances I doubt if all these words were uttered."
