The film was loved by critics but the public hates to be reminded about how much hatred there is in the world unless it is in a fake storyline. I read the book and even though you know the final outcome it was an incredible, suspenseful, and heart-wrenching story. I cried my eyes out for Marianne, Daniel and Adam reading it.
