If she had the twins this prematurely - no one would be leaving the hospital on the same day.They would be in ICU and woould have to prove their lungs were fully functional before they would be sent home. My perfectly healthy twins were delivered just 2 weeks early - and one still had to go to NICU for a week for observation after getting the shot that promotes lung development. This is very common for preemie twins....
