WHy do people insist on treating them as if they are martyrs. It is very refreshing to read about famous rich people actually doing good things with their money instead of snorting it up their nose. These 2 have to be the most unselfish people around. I'm still amazed at some of the ignorant, uninformed opinions that pop up. I have seen plenty of pictures of Angelina holding Shiloh and from her and Brad's interviews you can tell that they are very hands on with their kids. I believe they have ONE nanny to help out - big deal. So do lots of families that can afford to! And of course their real fans don't believe they are martyrs (someone needs a dictionary!) but just really good people who are doing their part to help out.

Alright after reading some of these comments, I need to say something. I myself am a parent, though not an adoptive parent. But I do have friends who have adopted and tried at first to do so in the USA but ended up settling on Romania. The reason a lot of parents choose NOT to adopt children in the USA and go outside the country is because a lot of the time adoption agencies try to "push" children with severe emotional, behavioral problems or physical disabilites like mental retardation, CP, or fetal alcohol sydrome. There are a ton of children in the foster care system who need loving homes however the majoity of them are older childen from broken homes where abuse and/or drug use was rampant. A lot of couples want newborn - toddler aged children relatively free of such problems. I'm not saying that it's right, those children deserve stability and love just as much as anyone else, but it is a fact in this country. Yes there are way too many children here who need a forever family, but it is a fact whether you like it or not that most families want a child without mental, behavorial, or physical problems. Sometimes the only time parents can ensure a healthy newborn in this country is to have a birth mother whom they get to know throughout her pregnancy and then they taken the baby home when it's born. Unfortunately if you do your research it is a sad fact that is part of the American adoption process. That's my 2 cents.

I think that people need to stop thinking Angie doesn't love her own child. She carried that baby for nine months and had the child with the love of her life. C'mon! You know she does. Perhaps we don't see Shiloh because she is taking a nap or something else...we don't know. We can only speculate. I think it's cruel for people to throw stones at this couple, because they are doing good things to help people, not just by adopting these children, but also as Ambassadors. Personally, I really don't think they are doing these things for publicity. Just compare them to other idiot celebrities out there. Today, to say "help american's" is like a joke. everyone has this false sense that "american's" are all like jolie/pitt. rich as hell with no worries. they think saying "help america 1st" is so horrid, it's like saying "help rich white old men" plzzzzzzzzz! Damn, there's some serious haters in here. Adopting a child is a very serious issue and takes 100% dedication for life. I really, really doubt they are adopting children for trophy purposes. They are trying to help other people in need, and that is a GOOD THING! Although, I'd like to see someone adopt a poor WHITE person. Did you notice how these two people are willing to help others from different races, but blacks only help blacks [OPRAH]? They do need to consider people from everywhere, all races, and all backgrounds to only be fair. Besides, let's not forget all the rest of us working middle class that pay for everything!
