After an awards season all but devoid of their presence, the stars returned to the red carpet last night for the Screen Actor's Guild awards.
Fans in attendance were treated to the sight of celebs including Angelina Jolie (who wore a noticeably flowy vintage Hermes dress), Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, and Eva Longoria dolled up in their red-carpet finery.
Ironically, however, despite the stars' presence, most of the awards went elsewhere - both Angie and Cate lost Best Actress to Julie Christie's performance in Away From Her, while Cate's performance in I'm Not There was also passed over in favor of Ruby Dee's turn in American Gangster.
Other major winners included Daniel Day-Lewis winning Best Actor for There Will Be Blood, No Country For Old Men picking up Cast Performance, and The Sopranos receiving some post-mortem recognition.
Of course, we know you're really interested in seeing the stars strut their stuff - so we've put together a gallery of our favorite shots of them doing what they do best!
We're still worried that this'll be the last awards gala of the year - let's hope the writers and the studios can put their quarrels behind them soon!
