I think that it is wonderful that Angelina has adopted kids of different races but it is her responsibility to acknowledge their individual needs and learn how to manage their varied hair types. Zahara is adorable but she needs her hair done. Maybe Jolie should hire a black hairdresser to teach her how to manage Zahara's hair. The Obama girls always look adorable when their hair is done casually in braids or in other styles. Zahara's hair does not have to look like Shiloh's but it should look well groomed and it doesn't-ever. Every child needs attention in some special way and Jolie needs to accept Zahara's need of having her precious hair managed properly even in a natural state. Another example, what phonies, they say they hate the media attention but auction off their babies' photos then try to make it less sickening by promising to donate the money to charity. They don't appear to have donated that money, at least not most of it, all these years later. How many other donation promises have been phony? She claims to donate 1/3 her income but that is her claim, no proof of that. And yes she should give proof if SHE is going to make those claims public and benefit from the charitable image she's creating.

I have never been on this site before and I will never be back. You people are nuts! Why on earth would you put down children? I don't care who their parents are, these are small children! Questioning their sexuality? Calling a child by a stereotypical racist nickname? How dare you?!

I teach children this age. They like to dress themselves. Good parents let them make their own decisions about what they wear at times when what they wear isn't important (like a trip to a toy store). When it is important, good parents give them choices between 2 or 3 options that are acceptable so that a child gets a feeling of ownership in her choices. Good parents also know that girls don't always have to wear pink dresses and boys don't have to play football. There is a lot of room for children to explore who they are without the boundaries of strict gender identities. That a little girl prefers pants doesn't make her a lesbian any more than a little boy who doesn't like sports is likely to become gay.
