Jolie is just learning...meaning she shouldn't have those kids in there with her! She hasn't piloted a plane in years! She is just now getting back to flying. All she would have to do is ONE mistake....and it could kill her, the co-pilot and those kids!

How is being a licensed pilot for at least five years just learning? Hasn't flown in years? She just took her daughters flying one or two weeks ago. She also flew several times when she was pregnant with the kids. People went psycho over that. I'm baffled why the haters say Angelina's kids shouldn't fly but it's perfectly fine for millions of kids around the world to fly. If the landing was just short of a crash, where's the video? Why wasn't it in the news? Pilots who have flown for 20, 30 years crash. Look at all of the stories of planes clashing, both commercial and private. The pilot always has decades of experience.

Actually, and I know that many of you are not going to believe this, but, women are better at helicopter flight than “fixed-wing”. The D.O.D. has completed many, many studies over the past 40 years with regards to the capabilities of female pilots. The studies, mostly, point to the fact that women perform better in helicopters than “fixed-wing”.

A very good example of this is Calista Flockhart. Her long time partner, Harrison Ford, is a Bell Helicopter 407 owner/operator. And as one of the pilots who worked with Ms. Flockhart, I can tell you she is well on her way to becoming an excellent, instrument-rated helicopter pilot.
