A bit tired maybe. sometimes I think she takes too much on her shoulders and I do really admire her, but as a nurture person I tend to be for those I care I cannot avoid worrying about her as well. I completely understand her work in India, and India is in fact a wonderful country, birthplace of a wonderful soul, the Mahatma, and the country which our dear Mother Theresa chose to live and die, a country which needs so much help, where people leave in miserable conditions. Lets hope for the best for angelina and her family, and specially for the people of India and all the refugees they are hosting at the moment.

It's pretty easy to get food-borne illnesses in India, just because in the West we're so obsessed with cleanliness that we don't have the immunities. My dad's the only American I know who went to India and came back without getting the least bit sick.

That said, in the sort of places that they're staying, the odds are much less of getting anything, and even then if you take a dose of antibiotics at the first sign of a problem, it clears up quickly.

I go to India at least once a year. We have a home outside Bangalore City. India is not backward at all. It is so much a very progressive country and they have the best doctors you could find. I don't think it is fair for people to say negative things about any country unless they have been and lived in that country. Angie delivered Shiloh in Africa with no problem. Angie and Brad are very smart. They know what they are doing. And I am sure they get great experiences just by touring India. India is fascinating... their people, food, old temples, beautiful gardens and has a lot more to offer. We, Americans should be more open to understand the culture of other countries than scrutinizing them. We will be looked like ignorant people if we keep commenting without first hand knowledge.

What is really aggravating about everyone going on and on about AJ's "humanitarianism" is that not many, if any, of you have even contributed your money or time to these causes that you believe she is actually helping. I notice you've contributed a great amount of time and energy extolling her virtues but you're not following in her footsteps so stop praising her unless you're actually going to follow her lead. Obviously, she's not inspired people to help those in need but rather piqued interest in her behavior and image.

Another thing, she is a publicity whore because very little she does is out of camera range...as opposed to other truly philanthropic movie stars like the late and great Audrey Hepurn who worked her butt off with UNICEF throughout the 70's and didn't advertise her every move. She actually LIVED in 3rd world countries and worked tirelessly until the end of her life, helping those in need. In fact, she sort of fell off the face of the earth and out of sight of the public because she was too busy really HELPING others and not talking about it. She didn't spend time traveling from one country to the next, posing for photo ops all the while dragging her young children around, exposing them to diseases or fatigue or living a friendless, peerless exsistence. Their lives are bizarre enough, why drag these kids into it and make them as restless as she is? I just don't see her as helpful to others as she is to herself.

And I just looked back at some posts and someone actually compared her to Audrey Hepburn...terrible. Audrey Hepburn had more class in her pinky than AJ has in her entire body. Audrey NEVER stole other women's men, made out with her husband on the red carpet after telling the world they had just f%^ked in the car, made out with her brother, wore blood around her neck and moreover, Audrey Hepburn could actually act and was truly a movie star. Don't you know a lot of Americans go to India for internship and learn their trade.They don't need to come here, and besides a lot of American companies are recruiting them before they graduate from their "Indian College". Yes, most of them are smart that's why most of out-sourcing companies are from there. They are the ones who will answer the questions everytime we Americans need somebody to solve our problems.
