Ashlee Simpson stepped off a plane at LAX last night, and the singer/actress looked stunned at the amount of flashbulbs that were going off in her face. She wasn't pulling a Phoebe Price and working it for photogs, but she was still polite enough to give us some good face as she made her way to her car.

I'm willing to overlook Ashlee Simpson's acting on Melrose Place, because once she dyed her hair dark, I fell in love with her all over again. While I can't really say the same for Pete's outfit last night, at least his ears were warm!

The hot parents stepped out in NYC for the opening of the American Eagle Outfitters Times Square flagship store, and it looks like they scored a handful of swag too. Lucky!

We caught a glimpse of Ashlee Simpson's new darker hue before she walked into Ken Paves, and when she stepped out a few hours later, she blew us away with her stick straight locks!

Not only is this blunt cut reminiscent of her hair from the Autobiography days, but we love love love the color! Maybe it's time to pop in her first CD and grab a bottle of Feria from the drugstore?

I know some people prefer Ashlee Simpson's fiery locks, but I've always been a huge fan of the singer/actress with blonde or brunette hair, so I was thrilled when I heard her hubby Pete Wentz recently mention that she had gone back to black!

We spotted Ash showing off her new hue in Beverly Hills yesterday, and not only did she look ab fab, but we're loving the fact that she had a huge grin on her face. Melrose Place what? Looks like getting fired from the show isn't bothering her at all! Perhaps she has bigger and better projects to move on to?

After leaving Melrose Place, Ashlee has reportedly found a new gig, reprising her role as Roxie Hart in Chicago, this time on Broadway!

According to internet reports, Bronx's mom has already left LA for New York, where she'll begin a six week run on the stage starting in December.

Ash got rave reviews for her turn as Roxie in London, and after her not-so-stellar turn as Violet Foster on MP, we bet she's looking forward to getting back to something she can excel at!

Now that Bronx is getting bigger, Pete and Ashlee have decided to give up their Beverly Hills home to buy something a little more family-friendly for little Bronx.

Yesterday, X17online spotted Mrs. Simpson-Wentz shopping for homes in the San Fernando valley -- where her parents and older sister Jessica live!

Ash looked thrilled at the prospect of moving closer to her family. And we couldn't help wonder if this move has more to do with just her old house not having a big enough yard for Bronx.

Now that she's no longer on Melrose Place and officially a full-time stay-at-home mom, are she and Pete ready to give Bronx a sibling?

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz took little Bronx for his first visit to Disneyland yesterday.

Looks like the big boy enjoyed the Dumbo ride!

It happens to the best of us ... Mrs. Simpson-Wentz has been cut from Melrose Place, according to Entertainment Weekly. We caught her out shopping yesterday and she didn't seem too troubled by the news. In fact, her co-star Colin Egglesfield was also let go. The show's executive producer Todd Slavkin told the Weekly it was always "... the original plan going into the development of the show. We felt that once the murder mystery [involving their characters] was resolved, the tone of the show was going to shift ... and [Simpson-Wentz's] character would move on."

But there's good news for Heather Locklear who has just returned to the show -- Slavkin told EW Locklear is "... in every episode moving forward. She's a major focus [of the show]."

Still, the series just got an order for 5 more episodes rather than for another entire season. With quick-to-fail series like The Beautiful Life, is the CW hesitant to commit? And why might that be? Because the script is so incredibly sucky? I mean really, I love trashy soaps but Melrose Place is so beyond anything even remotely watchable. I preferred Mischa!

And don't forget their adorable baby Bronx!

The happy emo family of Pete Wentz, Ashlee Simpson and their boy visited an art gallery on Melrose - I'm sure Bronx had a blast doing that! - before going shopping the other day. Maybe they all went home later and listened to Fall Out Boy before watching Melrose Place!

Ash's sister Jessica really needs to step it up and find a new boyfriend, STAT.

There's a report on Star Magazine claiming an "overly flirty" Ashlee Simpson was getting "touchy-feely" with her Melrose Place co-star Colin Egglesfield...

Apparently, a close friend reveals that Ash thought this guy was "really hot" from the beginning. Oh, and Pete Wentz is totes jealous!

A set source says he and Ash have been fighting on set, overhearing her "break down in sobs after angry phone calls." Uh-oh.

I only refuse to believe this because, as Ash has no chemistry with her co-stars on screen, how could she possibly have it off?

Last night Ashlee Simpson was spotted out and about in Hollywood, and the Melrose Place starlet appears to have forgotten her shirt...and a pair of pants! Or is she just showing off her super skinny frame, reminding us that she was huge and preggers this time last year?

There's no doubt about it, Ashlee looks amazing on the new MP, but how do we feel about her acting? Maybe we should give her some more time? Or should she have the same amount of screen time but with fewer lines?

We caught Ashlee Simpson (aka Ashlee Simpson Wentz, aka Violet Foster, aka Sydney's daughter) taking a little break on the set of the new Melrose Place yesterday.

Hey, Ash deserves a little rest, after all the scene chewing she's doing on the show, Ashlee must be exhausted!

The TV starlet was spotted leaving a building in Westwood with a big smile on her face... wonder why!

It's definitely not due to her show's ratings - Melrose Place did horribly for the CW! Whoops. Maybe Ash should go back to singing?

Yesterday we caught Pete Wentz sharing a smooch with wifey Ashlee Simpson, and later we spotted the Melrose Place star toting around her adorable son as she ran errands. Speaking of MP, what did you guys think of Ash's acting the other night?

The cast was at the Paley Center for TV Guide's Fall TV Preview party Monday night and, well, they're all gorgeous! But we really only care about Ash Simpson and sexy/talented newcomer Katie Cassidy.

Oh, and that "geeky" guy on the show that wants to be a filmmaker - Michael Rady. He's hot!

Otherwise we didn't love the premiere. Kinda bland, right? We miss Heather Locklear and Marcia Cross and their craziness!

The family Simpson-Wentz was spotted playing in the park together earlier today looking as adorable as ever! Maybe Pete and Ash aren't as emo as we thought? With baby Bronx in the picture, they look like the perfect fam!

Tuesday nights on the CW is the place to be!

90210 at 8pm and then Melrose Place at 9pm... can you handle it??? But which show are YOU gonna watch? I'm goin' with both!
