Ashley Olsen showed up to the Council of Fashion Designers of America awards wearing Calvin Klein's menswear inspired black suit, an homage to the recently deceased Yves Saint Laurent and his iconic "Le Smoking Suit".
Now we know the roomier pant is a new silhouette for spring, but doesn't it just remind you a little too much of MC Hammer's pants circa "You Can't Touch This?"
Or, much like the skinny jean, is it something that will just have to grow on us?
I guess looking on the positive side - it either hides big hips or in the case of Ashley, gives you some shape where you have none!
