As much as it seems that Athina is classy, mature and humble, it is so sad that she isn't proud of being Greek and she tries to shy away from anything Greek as much as possible. That's partly why she moved to South America (plus get married, etc.). There's been a surge of interest of Greece, like learning the Greek language, from her I think only because the Onassis Foundation won't let her touch the organization and its funds. The people there think that she's not Greek enough, hasn't worked a day in her life; she would be the exact opposite of what the foundation stands for. Weird, as if she isn't satisfied with the millions she inherited from her mother (her father, Aristotle halved his fortune between his wife and the foundation).

So...Athina might not be exactly the bright, shiny, good girl everybody thinks.
