Britney Spears' release from the UCLA Medical Center was the talk of the town yesterday - and boy, were the stars ready to weigh in on the matter!

Phoebe Price, for instance, was so touched by Britney's breakdown that she interrupted her Bebe photo shoot to speak compassionately on the subject. Phoebe seemed particularly moved by Britney's separation from her children, speculating that getting her kids back might spur Brit to "get the help that she needs."

Jason Davis, meanwhile, was a little more flippant about the situation when we bumped into him leaving the Ivy - all he could talk about was Britney's British accent. (Then again, Jason wouldn't answer any questions about his friend Lindsay Lohan, either - maybe he's just shy when it comes to celebs?)

Of course, not everyone was eager to talk about Britney - Jamie Pressley and Eric Cubiche, for instance, hurried away from our cameras without giving their opinions, and Bai Ling was occupied with ringing in the Chinese New Year at Mr. Chow's. (And some folks didn't even have Britney on the brain at all - at least one young lady's mind was still on Super Tuesday!)

... Adrian Grenier added a few new members to his Entourage! The TV star drew quite the crowd as he tried to make his way back to his car from the Green Door - including an accordion player and a giant...tree...looking...guy? (Unfortunately for the befoliaged freak, his long legs kept him from keeping stride with Adrian - hey, it ain't easy being green!)

Elsewhere, we spotted Jason Davis gettin' down with his bad (and thinner!) self, Macy Gray leaving with her girls, and Bai Ling giving everyone a heads-up about her new movie "Long Range". We also bumped into Seth McFarlane jokingly signing Stewies for fans, although he got serious once the subject turned to today's primaries. Good thing, too - voting's no laughing matter!

Or does she really think this looks cute?

We weren't sure who was more excited - Bai Ling or her puppy! Bai took some time out of her... busy... schedule? to show her four-legged friend off to the paparazzi last night at Mr. Chow's. They certainly seemed like a well-matched pair - not only are they equally excitable in front of the cameras, but they seem to have equally squeaky singing voices!

Oh how the mighty have fallen! Once at the top of the charts during the boy band craze of the late 90s, the reunited Backstreet Boys (minus one) are only expected to sell 100,000 copies of their latest album, Unbreakable, which hit stores the same day as Britney's Blackout (it's a class of '99 flashback, y'all!). And, appropriately, it seems like the only people they could get to show up to their party last night at Opera were Bai Ling (she'll go anywhere) and Kevin Connolly!

...Bai Ling was trying to shake off a nickname! The always-quotable Bai paused before heading into Mr. Chow's to discuss possible other ways she'd prefer her dancing to be remembered beyond "the Chicken Dance". She seemed to be renaming her dancing style after the majestic leopard - uh, sure, Bai, good luck with that!

Of course, Bai was hardly the only celeb to find themselves stricken by the urge to Chow down last night - we also caught Lauren Bacall, Daisy Fuentes, Rick Yune, and a Jessica-Alba-less Cash Warren. That's right - he really does exist when she's not around!

Stars, they're just like us! Admittedly bi-sexual Bai Ling claims to have had a "special attraction" to Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow co-star Angelina Jolie, according to Us Weekly! Although Bai says she never acted on the attraction, she claims that Angelna promised that the next time they were in a film together, they would "play lovers!"

A: Cuz crazy sells.

So, L.C. was at Us Weekly's Hot Hollywood party last night at Opera, and so was Heidi... blah blah blah. More importantly! How do you think Lauren handled the news of ex b/f Jason's engagement on The Hills this week?!

It's always interesting to see ex porn star Ron Jeremy out and about, right? Lots of excitement going on last night in Hollyweird. We caught up with tons of people, including Ian Ziering, Bai Ling, Devon Aoki at Il Sole, Shane West (with some hotties), Nicolette Sheridan and Michael Bolton at Mr. Chow's, Will I Am and Eric Mabius (The O.C. and Ugly Betty) at Hyde. Then at the end of the night, we saw "crazy party girl" (no, not Tara Reid) who showed off what are probably her most valuable assets...

Why we love Shanna Moakler, Reason One: When asked about Paris Hilton, she responded: "If you guys could just please stop asking me about her, it would make my f***ing day!" Reason Two: Well... I guess that was the only reason.

But Ms. Moakler wasn't the only, uh, "celeb" out on the town this weekend. Comedians Adam Corolla, Mike McDonald (of MAD TV) and Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy!) were spotted at Mr. Chow's, Paul Mooney and Paul Rodriguez hung out near the Roosevelt, and a host of other familiar faces - Bob Saget (I know, right?), Bai Ling, Jeffree Star, Tricky and Playboy Playmate Carrie Stevens - also made the rounds.

...Mandy Moore was checking herself out! We caught the pop star-turned-actress leaving the Arclight Theaters after the premiere of her new movie License To Wed last night. Then again, Mandy was hardly the only one checking herself out - dressed to the nines the way she was, we could hardly keep from sneaking a peek ourselves!

Elsewhere, our photographer spotted Courteney Cox making her weekly pilgrimage to Il Sole, Samantha Ronson and Bai Ling at Hyde, and Kim Kardashian at Parc. Of course, Kim was hardly the only star at Parc last night - we also caught a veritable who's who of Southern hip-hop luminaries at Parc, including Lil Bow Wow, Jermaine Dupri, and Outkast's Big Boi (as well as Fabolous, who held it down for NYC)!

Mr. Chow was a zoo Saturday night as X17 photographers spotted a luminous Penelope Cruz - in that gorgeous yellow dress - actress Bai Ling (who wore an "interesting" outfit, as usual), P-Diddy - who didn't have any advice for Paris Hilton when asked - producer Brian Grazer and director Brett Ratner, who joked to us about a behind-bars Paris possibly starring in his next film and making Rush Hour 4... but is that second part really a joke?

Kim Kardashian and Caroline D'Amore were making one heckuva case for gay marriage! Guess which one claimed to be "the guy?" Underaged Jesse McCartney tried to sneak into the club unnoticed (he's no Rumer Willis!) while Tara Reid and Jack Osbourne waved and chatted with our photogs. The Girls Next Door were over at Mr. Chow, along with Barbi Benton and the original Daisy Duke, Catherine Bach! Will.i.am and Bai Ling shared a moment over at Area and Nicolette Sheridan left Koi with a girlfriend.

Bai Ling was lookin' hot and sexy at Hyde (hope we see more of her on Lost!), Kevin Connolly (perhaps avoiding his ex?) was down the street at Priviledge, Nicolette Sheridan gave us no love at Mr. Chow, and Kim Stewart, fresh from a day of shopping, partied at Hyde.

Hey, we can't all be A-listers ... but at least these guys got invited to someone's pre-Oscar parties Saturday night!
