After snapping some hilarious shots of Adam Sandler wiping out in Malibu over the weekend, we decided to compile a gallery of our fav stars hitting the waves. Some show off their amazing surf skills, others show off their gorgeous bods (hello, Ryan Phillippe!) and a few show us just how uncoordinated they really are. Hey, as long as they're having a good time and beating the heat, it's all good!

Tennis star Serena Williams and singer Kelly Rowland were spotted soaking in the sun in Miami yesterday. Meanwhile, we're here in LA freezing our butts off, totally jealous that these two ladies are clearly enjoying the 80-plus degree weather!

With Labor Day just around the corner, celebs are running out of chances to flaunt their beach bodies. Guess that explains why we saw so many of 'em out in Malibu over the weekend!

Kate and her son Ryder enjoyed the Malibu surf yesterday while grandma Goldie and Kate's bro Oliver looked on.

Doesn't it look like she's posing?! And Goldie too! Kate totally learned from a master ... and no doubt she's looking for this pic to make it into the mags and for Lance to see how great she looks so he'll regret dumping her, right?!

Paz Vega and her hubby Orson Salazar took their young son to the beach for some family fun during their vacation to Ibiza. But Paz was showing off more than just her pride in her family - check out the stupendously skimpy bikini she wore out to the beach! Wow - we knew Paz was a piece, but she's lookin' even more caliente than we remember!

What, you thought you'd seen all the surprises Miley Cyrus' next music video would have to offer already? So did we - until Miley showed up on set in a blonde wig!

The teen queen returned to the beach to continue production on her next music video yesterday afternoon in an attempt to get a few more dance sequences down. What do we think of Miley in blonde - pretty striking, huh?

Miley Cyrus may have spent the last few months out of sight - but all that's clearly a thing of the past now!

The Disney queen stopped by Starbucks for a quick pick-me-up en route to the set of her latest video shoot. Of course, our hardly need raising when a sweetheart like Miley's around - she seemed to be almost as happy to see us as we were to see her!

From the 'bucks, it was off to the beach for the shoot. Looks like Miley's next video's gonna be a good one, too - we saw plenty of smiling faces and clean beachin' fun!

...another bikini for Ashley Tisdale!

Our Hawaiian correspondents caught the High School Musical starlet back out on the beach with her boyfriend Jared Murillo yesterday afternoon. Ashley was sporting yet a brand new bikini - or at least it was new to her!

Check out Britney Spears' Ed Hardy bikini from Costa Rica from back in May - sure, it was white rather than black, but the print sure looks familiar!

Britney Spears may have spent last week in Louisiana helping her little sis through her big day - but she sure left one heck of a body double!

Our photographers snapped some pix of this extremely familiar-looking blonde relaxing on the beach. Verrrrry pretty - but can she sing?

We caught Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend China Chow out in Monaco frolicking in the water with a couple of friends. Man, Keanu and China's vacation sure is taking them all over Europe, huh? (We just hope they decide to sneak back to Cannes!)

Check out the big smile on Brooke Burke's face as she swings with her daughters Neriah and Sierra Sky. Doesn't she look like she's having the time of her life? (Of course, with daughters as cute as Brooke's, we'd hardly expect anything else!)

The LA County Sheriff Department has just given us the following statement regarding the two incidents of photogs being harassed by surfers in Malibu this past weekend:

The Los Angeles County Sheriff Department is currently investigating reports of 2 incidents that involve photographers and beach goers in Malibu on Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22. As these reports include pending investigations, the City of Malibu cannot comment on these reports.


The City of Malibu is home to approximately 13,000 residents and hosts over 15 million visitors per year. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Department has been receiving increased reports of paparazzi complaints that include traffic violations, blocking sidewalks and driveways outside of businesses and homes, activities around local schools; and other acts that have posed a potential threat to public safety.

In May, the City Council of Malibu consented to have Mayor Pamela Conley Ulich work with Pepperdine Dean Kenneth Starr and other constitutional law experts on a pro bono basis to carefully consider whether additional regulations are warranted to protect peace and public safety. Any new ordinance must be in harmony with the first amendment free speech rights which are so important.

"I am hopeful we can develop and implement an effective strategy that will address outstanding public safety concerns and balance those concerns against protected 1st Amendment activities and commercial activities. We are blessed to live in a small town where everyone can relax at the beach and enjoy the peaceful tranquility of nature. The City of Malibu will do all it legally can to protect and preserve the natural beauty and tranquility of our town."

ALSO - an X17 photog that was attacked on the scene in Malibu yesterday has been called in by the Lost Hills Sheriff's Dept. this afternoon to further discuss the report he filed.

We feel confident the police are taking this seriously and we greatly appreciate their help...

Matthew McConaughey may be a peace-loving hippie - but his friends are closer to Hell's Angels!

Check out the first two photos of Matty chilling with some of his pals taken a week or so ago. Notice any familiar faces? That's right - Matthew's friendly with some of the same beach bums who spent the weekend brawling with the paps!

Of course, we'd never suggest that Matthew would have his pals go after the paps - that would put him in some serious trouble with the law. We just wish he'd sit down and talk to his friends - maybe he can convince them to give peace a chance!

We caught Felicity Huffman and her hubby William H. Macy frolicking with their daughter on the beach in Maui yesterday afternoon. The family's actually actually in Hawaii for Felicity to collect an award at the Maui Film Festival - but we certainly can't blame them for seizing the opportunity to work on their tans!

Elisha Cuthbert popped up in Hawaii yesterday afternoon with her boyfriend Dion Phaneuf of the Calgary Flames - hey, the Flames may have gotten bounced from the playoffs, but a trip to the beach with Elisha's one heck of a consolation prize!

The 24 starlet was initially a little shy around the paps, but loosened up over the course of the day. Heck, by the end of the day Elisha was practically flagging the paps down to snap her picture - and naturally, we were only too happy to oblige!

As you can imagine, Elisha was looking stupendously hot in her sexy little bikini - in fact, we had to put together a gallery just to contain it all!

Momma needed a break!!! I guess living in New York can do this to a girl -- after a while you have GOT to get out and get some sun!

Liv Tyler and her man Royston Langdon are doing just that in Hawaii right now.
