Guess that's why Paris was flying solo last night and the night before!

This is a little sad. We thought Penji actually made a cute couple! But I guess being "friends forever" is just as good. Right? Hmm, should Benji and Paris get back together?

After spending the night of his 31st birthday celebration with Jennifer Aniston, the love birds went their separate ways.

Jen went to talk to kids at the Cahuenga Elementary School (the school invites one actor to speak there every month), but it was back to work for John, who headed to The Village recording studio.

Think he's recording another "Your Body is a Wonderland" style tribute to Jen?

Photogs also spotted Benji Madden entering the studio with his guitar, where John helped Benji pen a sappy love song to Paris. Actually we're not sure WHAT they were doing there together, but we like to imagine Good Charlotte coming out with a Paris song soon.

Last night, at the most faaabulous bar in Los Angeles, the Abbey, X17 photogs spotted Paris and boyfriend Benji in the midst of a lover's tiff.

Although the two arrived at the bar together (Paris in sister Nicky's pleather pants), after fighting, the couple left the bar separately, but ultimately went home in the same car.

So should we prepare for the breakup of Penji?

"It didn't look like anything major," says our photog. "Just one of those fights between boyfriend and girlfriend at a club. But Paris was obviously upset."

In fact, Benji left the club four minutes before his girlfriend, but ended up simply waiting for her in his car until she decided to join him.

I guess we can all let out a sigh of relief -- doesn't seem like a breakup is imminent after all!

Talk about a fun double date!

The Hilton sisters and their boyfriends went out to the Chateau Marmont on Sunset last night for a private pre-VMA party. Sounds like a blast, right? Well, maybe not!

Paris and company only stayed for about 30 minutes before leaving... hmm, let's hope the actual VMAs are a bit more exciting!

Our photogs caught Gavin Rossdale out making a racket on the tennis courts - and shirtless, no less! Hey, someone's gotta pick up the slack now that Matthew McConaughey's acting all grown up these days!

Paris Hilton and Benji Madden are still together and still in love. The twosome dined at Il Sole on Sunset last night for an intimate dinner...

In Las Vegas (along with practically everyone else) for the Labor Day weekend, Paris got in some quality time with touring boyfriend Benji, as well as her new hair piece, The Bandit!

I'm not sure exactly why she named the "interchangeable hair extension headband" after a Burt Reynolds movie, but she certainly looks adorable wearing it!

We caught the hotel heiress leaving Il Pastaio after lunch with her boyfriend Benji Madden (sporting an yesterday afternoon. Both the lovebirds appeared to be thrilled to be seen in each other's company - although that's not too surprising, considering that we haven't seen these two together since their date at Tivoli Gardens!

Still, even the typically-dour Benji seemed happy to be seen with his main squeeze! Hey, there's nothing like a reunion with your sweetie - especially if you get to drive off in a super-slick Shelby Mustang like Benji's:

Copenhagen might not be Paris Hilton's very favorite city - but that's certainly not stopping her from enjoying her visit!

The hotel heiress and her boyfriend Benji spent Tuesday evening checking out the city's famous Tivoli Gardens amusement park and filming a brief appearance for Danish television to promote her new PH line of handbags. Unfortunately, Benji had to leave early (a little bird close to Paris' camp tells X17 that he has a Good Charlotte gig in Indianapolis tonight). Paris, however, stayed in town for a little more European fun. Nothin' wrong with mixing business and pleasure!

I never thought Paris Hilton would "blend in" to anything, but in that grey and white outfit (which matches her bf's grey shirt), standing in front of Benji's monochromatic DCMA storefront, she kind of does!

Course, they probably just engineered the whole matchy-matchy thing cuz they knew photogs would follow them to DCMA, but we like it better when the heiress stands out.

Nobody puts Paris in a corner!

Paris Hilton and Benji Madden stepped out in a big way over the weekend, attending the grand opening of new Vegas hotspot Wasted Space together. The couple appeared to be genuinely enjoying themselves, laughing and socializing with friends inside. Hey, rumor control doesn't always have to be hard work!

Of course, Paris and Benji were hardly the only celebs attending the star-studded party - we caught Mike Tyson, Stephen Baldwin, Ice T and Coco, Jeff Beacher, Pink's ex-husband Carey Hart (one of Wasted Space's co-owners), Shayne Lamas, and even Dave Navarro, who treated the partiers to an acoustic set. Since settling down with the Madden twins, it seems like former besties Paris & Nicole have eschewed their former lifestyle to concentrate on family, work and charity.

But the Las Vegas Review Journal reports that this weekend, the girls, in town for a Good Charlotte performance at the Hard Rock pool, may have returned to their old ways!

In addition to an almost run-in with Paris' ex Stavros (who reportedly burned rubber as soon as he found out both he and Penji were in the same club), Nicole, who took a private jet with Harlow out to the bash (video below) reportedly got into a "catfight" at the valet station outside of the Hard Rock Hotel!

But I guess everyone's entitled to a little regression -- heck, it IS Vegas after all!

Lately, Paris Hilton's been dressing awfully colorfully - but all that seems to be a thing of the past!

We caught Paris and her boyfriend Benji Madden doing a little shopping in Bel Air dressed head-to-toe in black. Let's wait and see if Tori Spelling follows suit in a few days!

Hollywood "It" couple Paris Hilton and Benji Madden - this time both decked out in black - went out clubbing in Hollywood last night, giving B the chance to show off his new 'do... or lack thereof!

The inseparable Paris and Benji returned back home from shooting Paris' new reality show in NYC, and it seems the pair are falling even harder in love for each other!

Benji met Paris at a salon in West Hollywood, and didn't even seem to mind that he got a ticket on his car while waiting for her.

Paris, having abandoned her pop-punk-princess look and returning to the casual LA style she used to rock back in the day (in her own tank and velour sweats), seemed more comfortable with herself than ever, not even breaking stride when she almost broke her neck slipping on the stairs.

We weren't sure if these two were a good match when they first started, but now it seems like they're able to love each other for exactly who they are!

Benji Madden happened to randomly bump into some old friends yesterday afternoon - and as you can see, he was more than happy to see 'em, too!

Seriously, just check out the big smile on Benji's face as he socializes with his pals. Heck, he even gave one of 'em a big hug - we can't even remember the last time he was so affectionate towards his girlfriend!
