The mag's featuring Gossip Girl's Blake Lively, Mamma Mia's Amanda Seyfried, Unfabulous' Emma Roberts and Twilight's Kristen Stewart in nothing but white shirts and skivvies on the cover for this year's "young hollywood" feature.

Also trying to steal the spotlight from VF's young alumni like Lilo, the Olsens and Shia LeBeouf are The Jonas Brothers, the entire cast of Gossip Girl, Johah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse (aka McLovin), Zoe Kravitz, Emma Stone, Olivia Thirlby, Jay Baruchel, Kat Dennings, Rob Brown, Hunter Parrish, Michael Angarano, Summer Bishil, Josh Peck, Rachael Taylor and Amber Heard.

Noticeably absent from the list: Miley Cyrus, who "scandalously" posed wrapped in a sheet for a photoshoot for the mag earlier this year.

Miley Cyrus will host the 2008 Teen Choice Awards, which celebrate the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, comedy, sports and fashion. Today, Fox announced the nominees, and we were thrilled to see some of our favorite celebs on the list!

The CW's Gossip Girl earned an impressive 14 nominations, including Choice TV: Breakout Show, Choice TV Show: Drama, Choice TV Actor: Drama (both Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley) and Choice TV Actress: Drama (both Blake Lively and Leighton Meester).

MTV's The Hills earned several nods including Choice TV: Celebrity Reality, Choice TV: Male Reality/Variety Star (Brody Jenner), Choice TV: Female Reality/Variety Star (both Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad) as well as Choice TV: Villain (Spencer Pratt).

It looks like a lot of celebs are going head to head in the same categories, including Reese Witherspoon's current beau Jake Gyllenhaal (Rendition) and her ex-hubby Ryan Phillippe (Stop-Loss) who are both nominated for Choice Movie Actor: Drama - wonder if there will be any Hills style drama during or after the show?

Iron Man snagged four nominations, including Choice Movie: Action Adventure, Choice Movie Actor: Action Adventure (Robert Downey Jr.), Choice Movie Actress: Action Adventure (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Choice Movie: Villain (Jeff Bridges), while Stop-Loss got a pair of nominations for Choice Movie: Drama, as well as Choice Movie Actor: Drama (both Channing Tatum and Ryan Phillippe). Sex And The City earned a nomination for Choice Movie: Chick Flick.

Teen phenom and host Miley Cyrus earned four nominations for Choice TV Actress: Comedy, Choice TV Comedy, Choice Music: Single and Choice Music: Female Artist, a category she shares with fellow nominees Britney Spears, Fergie, Mariah Carey and Rihanna.

The 10th Annual Teen Choice Awards will be held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, and will air on Monday, August 4 at 8pm PST on Fox. Starting today, fans ages 13-19 can vote for their favorite nominees at TeenChoiceAwards.com!

Monday nights is one of our favorite nights on television - because of GG and The Hills!

Last night's Gossip Girl wasn't quite as scandalous as we had hoped -- but it did feature some classic Josh Schwartz moments, probably some of the best all season, particularly where the old gang got back together for the sake of Serena, and everyone confessed their sins out in the open. And -- we totes love Michelle Trachtenberg as the evil Georgina!

As for The Hills, it's turning out to be quite a Lo vs. Audrina smackdown, and sorry Lo, but our loyalties lie with Audrina! There's just something so insincere about Lo - maybe it's just that she's not as good an actress as the rest?

Speaking of acting, the series finale saw Heidi, the "feminist hero" choosing between her job and Spencer. No surprise, since it's a fake job anyway, that she chose Spencer. But duh, didn't she see season one where Lauren chose Jason over Paris and regretted it? That's sooo 2006, Heidi!

We wholeheartedly love and support GG and The Hills and are totally addicted to both -- we couldn't possibly pick sides, but can you?

One of New York's biggest nights, The Costume Institute's Gala at the Metropolitan Museum, attracted every star from Hollywood and fashion.

Although the theme was "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy", we didn't find a lot of heroes among the fashion elite last night!

There certainly were a few standouts - Eva Longoria wowed in her Marchesa gown, the Olsen twins toned it down and got two thumbs up, and David Beckham's and Tom Brady's tuxes couldn't contain their hotness.

Course there were some fug outfits last night, too, BFFs Katie and Victoria definitely competed for that prize along with some former models!

After looking at all the ruffles, pleats, sequins, tulle and tuxes, fashion do's and don'ts, the X17 office has definitely picked a winner for "worst dressed" (click through if you care!)

Everyone who's anyone was at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala - damn, that's a mouthful! - in NYC last night. But aside from the Olsen twins, what other young starlets made the cut?

Ok, Blake Lively, Emma Roberts and Mamma Mia and Big Love's Amanda Seyfried may not all be teens, but they do play them on tv! The hot young things united for a sexy photo shoot on the beach over the weekend.

Considering the uproar over those Miley Cyrus/Vanity Fair pix, we're wondering if the sexy shots of seventeen-year-old Emma Roberts, wearing nothing but a wet, white button down over her underwear are gonna cause the same outrage!

Course, Nick IS a bit more progressive than Disney, but still!

Oh, and we're pretty sure that fourth girl is Twilight's Kristen Stewart, who has become our fave new young actress. Whaddya think, is that really her? (Click through for a better shot of her...)

...But who's getting married?

Blake Lively, Chace Crawford and the rest of the cast for the CW soap filmed a wedding scene in NYC as part of their season finale. Ah, we can't wait to see what happens on the show! Of course a last-minute twist is likely in store for us, no doubt.

Blake and Chace look elegant in their outfits, don't they? He's even wearing a yellow tie that matches her dress!

Blake Lively sure is pretty - just look at all those crew members fawning over her!

The Gossip Girl starlet, along with gossip boy Chace Crawford, filmed scenes of their soap in NYC yesterday, much to the excitement of fans who stuck around to get a glimpse of their favorite actors.

These two are seriously just so attractive together. Maybe that's why the show's numbers are down - even the viewers are getting intimidated!

Blake, if you don't want to be gossiped about...

Not only is Gossip Girl being declared Best. Show. Ever. by New York Magazine, if this steamy cover shot is any indication, it's also got the sexiest cast ever!

Not that the "tangle" pose is anything new, but these young stars are universally gorge.

They're apparently also a lot like their alter egos - according to the article there's as much drama offscreen as on, with the cast tangled up as lovers, roommates, friends, frenemies and classmates in real life, too!

Here's the Gossip Girl lead with Connor Paolo, who plays her character's younger brother on the show, shooting scenes in breezy NYC.

Isn't his character, Eric van der Woodsen, the one rumored to be coming out - on the show, that is? Guess we'll have to see when it airs!

Chace Crawford - who is NOT dating JC Chasez - Blake Lively and Michelle Trachtenberg shot scenes in rainy New York for their hit CW show. Looks like the wind wasn't blowing as much as last week, though!

Is Chace Crawford the new Zac Efron? Maybe his ex Carrie Underwood and Vanessa Hudgens need to have a 'lil chat!

After the New York wind died down, we caught Blake Lively in this adorable photo op with her pooch Penny.

These two are SO much cuter than Ashley Tisdale and her pup!

That's Gossip Girl beauty Blake Lively - love that name - with her new co-star Michelle Trachtenberg (who's taking over the role Mischa turned down) on the set of their WB show. Think these two will work well together? Is Chace Crawford really not dating JC Chasez?

It seems like it's been forever since we've had a new episode of Gossip Girl, but not only will the series return next month (yes, we have to wait a little bit longer), but it may run through the summer!

Not since 90210 did their "summer at the beach" mini-series have I so looked forward to summer tv viewing.

Speaking of 90210, I hear they're bringing it back, at the CW, natch. If they do it right, it could be the LA version of Gossip Girl, but with the sons and daughters of celebs attending West Beverly!

I can't wait!

Gossip Girl's Serena Van Der De La Woodsen herself, Blake Lively, showed up to Letterman's yesterday decidedly dressed down in jeans, low boots (which we're loving right now) and a cognac-colored leather jacket.

Since Serena usually dresses to the nines just to go to school, we were pretty surprised to see Blake going so casual!

Course, we know they're not the same person, but if the writer's strike doesn't end soon, we're gonna be jonesin' for some Gossip Girl!
