Brad Pitt's latest film project will take him into video game territory, as Variety reports that his production company and Reliance Big Entertainment have signed a deal with Capcom to develop a feature film based on the game "Dark Void."

"Dark Void" is about a pilot who crash lands in the Bermuda Triangle and finds himself in "an alternate world resembling a primitive Earth where aliens with superior technology are planning to take over civilization."

Apparently the studios are looking at the computer game as a potential franchise and starring vehicle for Brad, and this is the first project to come out of Reliance's development deal with Pitt's Plan B Productions.

Geez, that was fast!

After spending just a few days overseas, Brad Pitt and his grubby goatee are already back home in Hollywood. We caught Brad at LAX last night, and the still hunky actor seemed overwhelmed by the attention he received upon his arrival. Psh, like he's not use to this?!

Brad Pitt's made a quick trip back to France -- he arrived on Tuesday and now he's already headed back to LA!

So why the international flight, sans family, just for a few days? A source in France tells us he hopped across the pond to sign purchase papers for ANOTHER property in the south.

The pad next door to Miraval (yup, this is the same spot that George Clooney checked out), is being purchased by an trust called Miraval, SCI -- the equivalent of an American LLC. Looks like the Jolie-Pitts are expanding their French holdings meaning more privacy, room for guests ... room for more kids!

Cops were called to the Los Feliz home of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie yesterday at approximately 1:30pm, X17online can report exclusively.

The two police cars sped up to the gates of the couple's house with the sirens blaring, said our photogs, indicating some sort of emergency.

The police stayed for only 15 minutes, though, so it must have turned out to be less than serious.

We asked the boys in blue if everything was ok with Brad Pitt, and they responded "yes"!

Although the couple was in town this weekend, it's not clear if Brangelina were home at the time of the incident.

The LAPD is apparently unaware of the call and calls to the department's public information officer were not immediately returned.

Brad must've seen our unflattering comparison to Captain Jack, cuz yesterday he ditched the beard braids for a more groomed billy goat look!

Still not a fan of the grey facial hair (yes, we know it's for a movie!) but at least he looks a little less pirate and a little more Santa! Although maybe that's not such a good thing...

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are designing a collection of snake-inspired gold and silver jewelry and accessories with Asprey, and according to company officials and WWD, the line will go on sale at Asprey stores later this week.

The aptly titled limited edition "Protector" collection was in the works for more than a year, and all net proceeds from sales will go to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, which Jolie co-founded in 2006. As you may recall, the charity raises awareness and money to help and educate child victims of war, conflict and natural disasters. Prices start at $525, and even though that seems a bit steep, it is some pretty snazzy bling, and since the money goes to charity, we can't exactly call Brangelina greedy!

So why the snake? According to WWD, Angelina was given a snake ring while she was pregnant with Shiloh, and she considers the serpent to be a protector of her family.

Though Brangelina wouldn't comment on the collection itself, they did discuss the goals of the charity, saying, “These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place - to just be children. Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie enjoyed a relatively public date last night at the 30th Anniversary of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.

The couple had their "serious art faces" on for much of the event, gazing thoughtful at the artwork.

But this frame caught Angelina in a more lighthearted mood -- guess she's not letting the impending release of Ian Halperin's tell-all get her down!

The new Brangelina book by author Ian Halperin alleges, among other things, that Angelina Jolie spread mean-spirited rumors about rival Jennifer Aniston so that she wouldn't be perceived as a husband-stealing whore!

You remember all those rumors about how Brad left Jen because she was too selfish to put her career on hold to start a family? Well, apparently that was the handiwork of Jolie, her manager Geyer Kosinski and brother James Haven.

Angelina "was convinced that this is the story that would resonate with all these women who saw her as a man-stealing bitch," says Halperin in his new book (according to Us.)

That's quite an allegation! But is it the truth?

Yesterday afternoon we snapped Brad Pitt leaving his office, and it looks like he's still searching for a director to keep his upcoming flick Moneyball in the game!

After adding Aaron Sorkin to the team and cutting Steven Soderbergh, Brad has met with several directors over the past few weeks, including Oscar nominee Bennett Miller and Marc Webb.

Think Brad and his producers will be able to move forward with this project? Or will it see more delays?

We know Brad's growing out his beard to play Amazonian explorer Percy Fawcett in The Lost City of Z, but is it really necessary to braid it into little mephistophelean points?

Maybe Angelina encouraged him to do it so he wouldn't attract quite so much female adoration, but is it working?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were spotted making their way through Hollywood on Saturday in their big Suburban with the kids. Poor Brad got so tired he even started yawning! Of course, if I had that many children, I'd be exhausted too.

Aww, how cute!

I guess his ego wasn't THAT bruised! Brad Pitt might've lost his fave bike in that accident recently, but at an Inglourious Basterds event in Tokyo today he said the following: "I will definitely be looking at motorcycles."

And here it is! A brand new custom-made motorcycle was delivered to Brad's Hollywood home today...

Let's hope he doesn't get any more bruises with this one!

He may be one of the world's hottest movie stars, but Brad Pitt can be vulnerable too!

After crashing one of his favorite bikes last week, Pitt briefly discussed the accident with reporters in Tokyo today, telling them, "I had a little mishap. No injuries, except my ego. I was trying to get away from some paparazzi and instead gave them a good story ... It was my favorite bike, so that is really sad."

Aww, cheer up Brad! I'm sure you can find a new fav ride, right?

There's a tell-all biography about Brad and Angelina about to hit bookstores and lemme tell you ... they're keenly aware of it!

Yesterday, excerpts from biographer Ian Halperin's upcoming Brangelina Exposed were released and the most sensational stated that "Angelina's lifestyle choices" are causing "irreparable tensions" in her relationship with Brad.

The couple put for their best effort to quell any rumors their relationship may be on the rocks with a sexy dinner date last night at Cecconi's.

Angelina wore her usual black, but the skin-tight frock was anything but usual! She touched Brad's shoulder tenderly as their sped off in his new hot rod. And Brad looked uber-confident, leading his lady to the car and looking all to happy to be going home with his hottie.

It's certainly not coincidence that Angelina left Cecconi's last night with the cover of the book Half the Sky displayed prominently in her arms -- she was almost cradling it, like a baby.

After all, Jolie is an ambassador for the United Nations' High Commission for Refugees. She's devoted to promoting human rights causes -- specifically those of women. So the fact that she's reading this book about educating and fighting poverty in the female populations of poor nations around the world isn't surprising, but still, something of note.

Half the Sky, according to a website promoting the book and its causes, " ... lays out an agenda for the world's women and three major abuses: sex trafficking and forced prostitution; gender-based violence including honor killings and mass rape; maternal mortality, which needlessly claims one woman a minute." The authors, Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, have the support of people like Bill and Melinda Gates and Brangelina pal George Clooney, and others, helping to champion their cause.

Angelina has said of the book:

"Women facing poverty, oppression, and violence are usually viewed as victims. Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn’s Half the Sky shows that unimaginable challenges are often met with breathtaking bravery ..."

At least Brad and Angelina are using their star power for a good cause! Here's a trailer for the book ...

Finally! We haven't seen these two out together for a while but last night, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie finally emerged for date night at Cecconi's!

The couple looked amazingly hot -- Angelina in her tight black dress and Brad with his new muscle car. This is why the world loves these two!

Brangelina arrived at 7:30 pm and stayed for two hours. Angelina had a book with her -- Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide. It appeared there was a meeting of some sort to celebrate the launch of the new book by New York Times columnist Nicholas D. Kristof and his Pulitzer Prize-winning wife Sheryl WuDunn. Gee, not exactly a casual night out!

Our photographer tells X17online: "Brad and Angelina looked really happy to be together. Angelina was holding Brad's hand and she was smiling the whole time. They both seemed proud of each other ... Then Brad drove away really fast, showing off his new car."
