Brad and Angelina Earn Critics' Choice Nominations

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are among the nominees for the 14th Annual Critics' Choice Awards.

Pitt's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button tied with Milk for the most nominations with eight.

Angelina Jolie scored a best actress nomination for her work in Changeling, while Brad was nominated for his backwards aging role in Button.

Sean Penn received a best actor nomination for his role as gay rights pioneer Harvey Milk in Milk, while James Franco was nominated in the best supporting actor category for the same film.

Heath Ledger was honored with a posthumous nomination for best supporting actor for his portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight.

The 14th Annual Critics' Choice Awards, voted on by the Broadcast Film Critics Association, will be handed out on January 8th.

The animated feature has good movies,
the top three action movies and Tropic
Thunder. The Dark Knight and Wall-E
for best picture. Most of the rest of
them aren't even worth renting the dvd.
They wonder why people aren't watching
awards shows as much any more. The
comedy section is poor.

A lot of these movies were not good,
didn't make any money to speak of and
yet they are picked and also the actors
and actresses. Every year I can't help
but wonder what in the world they are
chosen for. A lot these were talked a
bout before they were even made as oscar
winners. Don't the critics pay any
attention to what the public really likes and go to?
