Yes, I know, they donated money and that helps people. But brangeloonies, ask yourselves, why did they feel the need to make sure the world found out about it?

Anyone with a TV or the ability to read knows this tragedy happened so they didn't raise awareness for the situation. They only raised awareness for themselves. It's disgusting how they always feel the need to insert themselves into EVERY human tragedy.

Why can't they ever donate money quietly? There are lots of people who will say "I don't need to give money because rich celebrities are taking care of the problem."

Frequently, it is the organizations themselves who reveal the donations by public figures in order to encourage the public to do likewise. People who try to use a story about efforts to raise funds for a desperate situation into an opportunity hate mongering are beneath contempt.

Do you realize they have ample monies, supplies and advice given to Haiti over the decades that go into the pockets to those who keep them languishing in poverty and acting in immoral, deviant anti-social behavior. Give nothing and pray that this is taken from the world heads that could care less about them, even churches are hands tied to save even one from escaping this nightmare on earth.

and knew that food, water and a place
to stay were going to be needed. I think
most people are capable of knowing this.
I think most Americans are pretty good at trying to help in time of crises. I
also think all the rescue workers, doctors, nurses and people there now
working deserve the praise. Can you
even imagine what it would be like?
This isn't about who gives more, it
will take a huge effort on behalf of
a lot of people to even get everyone
out, dead or alive and the cost of the
after care will be huge. If you can only

My heart goes out to all the workers on
the ground, trying to find people, the
nurses, doctors and aid workers that are
trying to save and make the people more
comfortable. They are the real heros.

Of course they had to issue statements so we all know how wonderful St.Angelina and St.Brad are. Whats the point to give even the smallest portion of your enormous wealth if you don't brag about it? No tragedy is real tragedy until Brad and Angie say so!

without the money, these medical help cant work. docs, nurses, everyone, need money for the medicines and equipment they need.

Donations to the needy are always good, but these "donations" from these two only occur when their private/prof. lives have less than complimentary situations to their image. Other celebs (and non-celebs) donate time, money, etc., without the and yes, media coverage over their donations, but downplay any ill vibrations they send/live in. Ask the actual workers on site how much both participate in these meets with other countries/people in need= they have a 15 minute photo op and the rest of the time, they are on yachts, etc., enjoying the higher living "vacation type" atmosphere their money can buy ( all documented). These occur only when cameras or PR (self promoters) releases what most people do quietly out of their heart ( and pockets) - the Bible covers doing good has humble servants and sharing our good fortunes and strengths to help those in need but should be done from the heart, not for the coverage to publicity of appearance. Seemingly, these advertised gift givings occur when they go through some negative dilemma, personal or professional that may tarnish their "image". Doing good is great, but should be done for the right whole hearted reasons, and should remain between self and God (or any believed Higher Being). My (and others) generous donations are made between me and the agency/organizations, etc. and GOD - not for publicity-and at higher amounts than Jolie/Pitt-some with smaller incomes than those two as well, without the advertisement. All of us here in Hollywood (and all over the world) gives (if financially able) money or time without the need for any other underlying motive. Although any and all help for those in need is appreciated - it should be done for whole hearted reasons and loud enough for God (or Higher Self) o hear. I've never posted before on this issue but it is becoming quite the habit of both Jolie and Pitt to continuously announce these donations at very "suspect" times in their careers
