Kids find out a lot of crazy things their parents did as they get older and that does not suddenly turn them into raging lunatics.
They have a lot of love and support from many people in their lives.

Most kids do fine who grew up in dysfunctional famlies, who have a parent that's a jailbird, mentally ill, drug addict, drunk, abuser, etc.

And these kids have an advantage. Loving extended family members, nannies and wealth.
