The poor girl is mental. That is why a court of law put her under a legal c-ship. You don't do that unless you are really in bad shape mentally. She is lost and unstable. And the first thing her dad and manager do is have her strip naked for her video Womanizer. Then they put her on a tour. That's like taking a child and pushing them to do all of those things when they are not able to understand those kinds of things yet. To have someone like this poor woman, who has mental problems, under such stress and sexual situations is really sick. They need to back of off Britney until she is better, far better. Let her do those things after her mind is back and she is legally able to take care of herself and understand the consequences of her own actions.

It's Britney's management, her parents, and label that get all the benefit of Britney's sales. Britney is just being used. She is in a terrible state. And it’s all the people around her and the industry that creates her "art" (the writers of the music, the studio technicians, the producers etc.). They have to correct her vocals for her CD's since she can't really sing. She has to lip-synch on stage since she can’t sing. She does not even dance anymore because of her knee injuries she had then had to have operated on (1999 and 2004)

So what is there to be jealous of? I would be very scared to have her "life". I love my freedom and that no one controls my life. No one tells me what to do. I can go where I want. I can have "real relationships" with "real" people, not paid people to watch me 24/7. And most important, I am very happy in my life.

Personally, I feel really bad for Britney, she is in a living hell, but her people make it look like she is living the good life so her fans will buy the CD's that are created by others. They then put her image on the CD to make it look like she is the cause of her music, but she is not.

I will take happiness any day over her sad life!

You need to check out the laws in California and find out how severe a c-ship really is. Basically, anyone under a c-ship is considered mentally impaired to a very heavy extent. They’re considered to be unable to take care of themselves at all since they are not of sound mind. They may harm or kill themselves or others if not closely supervised.

It is very, and I mean VERY difficult to get a c-ship over someone in California. Judges have to have psychiatrists and highly trained psychologists do a major amount of test to prove without a doubt that someone is really mentally impaired and a REAL danger to their own safety or life and others. Basically when you have a c-ship over someone, you have basically taken away their Constitutional rights and freedoms. So the Judges and the Courts are very careful not to give out c-ship on a light basis. So, in other words, the psychiatrists found Britney to be insane and incapable of taking care of herself for life. The c-ship was made permanent if you remember. Britney’s dad now controls her for life.

Her mental problems are obviously very heavy, and for life since there is no cure for it. Just constant psychiatric evaluations form time to time and major medication for the rest of her life. She actually lives in a living hell because of her delusional fans that have driven her in to the ground with their constant “need” of her. Britney’s family and her management (Larry) are using all of this to make more money off of her.

Britney has about the same amount of legal rights and freedoms as she did when she was around 11 years old in the Mickey Mouse Club.

How can you be under a c-ship, which is completely run by the person that has control over you and yet you are still in control of your own life and decisions? I don’t think so. So thinking that Britney is running her own show and wants to do all of this is very contradictory if you think about it.

C-ships take an incredible amount of your rights away. And the judge and the press have stated that her father is in complete control of all her business dealing and her money. So the point is, even if Britney does want to do this or does not want to, is irrelevant. She will do as her father and team tell her.

Her greedy father, manager and the industry are pushing her to the extreme. She’ll break big time soon. Then all her fans will cry and whine again like they always do over her. But they are the ones that are killing her with their extreme need of her. So in the end when Britney has a major breakdown again or is dead, it will be their fault!

Wow, don't know what to make of this?? It seems seriously strange/bizzare to me that she wouldn't keep them on after all of the stuff that we saw in her MTV documentary. I am wondering if it has something to do with the fact critics are really panning her performances and the fact that they are too repetative. I know that she has been with these people for a very long time and I don't see her actually parting ways with them just like that. Who knows though, you never really know the full story on things because we only see or hear what they want us to. Either way I hope that it works for her. I have to agree with the poster at 3:33 PM. Britney has a long history of people bailing on her (lawyers, managers, dancers, the industry etc.). She also dumps people all the time too, like her: mom, dad, and boyfreinds like Justin, husbands, her babies, bodygouards, and everyone else around her. That is always the sign that things are NOT going well with Britney. She runs people off with her insanities. I'm sure that they did walk out on her since they just could not get her to do what she was supposed to. She probably yells at them and insults them all the time. Everyone bailes on Brit eventually. And now the tour has not even started and look at what is already happening. This tour is going to crash and burn just like the Onyx tour did.

I think that she is and was SOOOOO hurt by her break up with Kevin that it really was and still is a huge source of her unhapiness. I trully think that she really did love him beyone words. It almost ruined her but she is learning and now she knows what not to do in the future. She even said that at the end of her interview with MTV. It is all part of growing up and maturing. Some of us just have more emotions than others and there is usually one time in everyones life when they are hurt beyond belief and they will never be that hurt again. The next time around just wont be as bad because once you experience that pain with the father of your children for the first time, it is never that intense again. Thank God!! I really do wish her and her kids the best. In time she will heal entirely and it will all just be another lesson learned in her life. I'm guessing Wade and Andre are feeling a great sense of relief. I would think that it would suck to have your good name associated with choreographing the terrible performances she gives. I would hate to know that I had to come up with a polished, professional routine for someone that was just going to walk around onstage flapping her arms and not even try to give a good performance. I'm not a fan of this type of music, but I am smart enough to know that it takes a lot of talent and hard work to come up with those routines. Andrea and Wade should focus their efforts on someone who would at least try to give a good performance.

Judge Approves Over $1 Million In Legal Bills, Payments From Britney

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Britney Spears is back with a hit album and a worldwide 2009 tour, but going from her troubled start at the beginning of 2008 to the top of the charts hasn’t come cheaply.

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge approved over $1.5 million in payouts to those who have assisted the pop singer, who has been under a conservatorship overseen by her father, Jamie Spears and attorney Adam Wallet, since earlier this year. “My client has made an informed consent to all of these fee amounts,” Britney’s lawyer, Sam Ingham, said in court Monday.

Sam Ingham, who serves as Britney’s attorney, was approved to receive $143,643, while $81,849 was approved for co-conservator Wallet. Luce Forward’s law firm, which represents Jamie Spears, was approved for the largest sum of money — $509,080 – for their work. Michael Flanagan, who was Britney’s lawyer during her driver’s license case earlier this fall, was ordered to be paid $11,811. A payment of $15,275 was approved for Laura Wasser, the counselor who serves as Britney’s family law attorney.

Additionally, the judge ordered a $1.5 million dollar bond as insurance to protect the conservatorship.

The bank of Britney Spears has just opened its vault -- again.

The judge in the conservatorship case has just ruled Jamie, Brit's dad, can get thousands of extra $$$ for the work he's been doing for his daughter. Jamie was getting $10,000 a month for his fee as the conservator of Brit's estate.

Today the judge adjusted that amount for the entire year to $16,125 a month, to reflect all the additional work Jamie did -- which includes planning her tour for next year.

The judge also gave the green light for Jamie to get office space -- Brit will pay $1,200 a month for that.

And there's more. Brit's bro, Bryan Spears, will receive $200,000 for services he rendered prior to the time the conservatorship was established.

And the lawyers ... the bills for all of them are approaching a cool $1 million.

The cost of looking after Britney Spears - $132 an hour

Britney Spears' father has been granted a court-ordered pay rise for looking after his often troubled daughter, it has been reported.

The raise takes Jamie Spears' hourly rate managing Britney's affairs to about NZ$132 an hour, according to the Associated Press.

Mr Spears' raise, which equates to around US$51,000 (NZ$90,000), was awarded by a Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner for helping Britney through her recent troubles, which included brushes with the law and eccentric behaviour.

Mr Spears took over his daughter's career and finances in February and was credited by the court for helping to get Britney's career back on track.

The raise reportedly takes Mr Spear's earnings from NZ$17,500 to NZ$27,864 a month.

The payout also includes back pay and an additional NZ$1,200 a month to maintain an office, the Associated Press said.

Jamie hired his own accountants to sort out the money mess and bring an end to the 26-year-old’s excessive spending. “It’s been quite a challenge getting things under control,” the insider says. Luckily, as Britney’s mental health improves, so does her bottom line. “She’s spending about a fifth of what she used to,” the insider adds.

Former Manager to Brit: Gimme More Money!

Jonny Wright -- manager of such high-powered acts as Justin Timberlake, the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC -- is suing his most famous client, Britney Spears, claiming she hasn't forked over commissions owed him from when she was actually famous for her performing.

Wright Entertainment Group (WEG) managed Spears until February 2003, but were supposed to keep receiving commissions until February 2008 for deals they negotiated on Brit's behalf. Now WEG claims, that Spears stopped paying in December 2006. Oops!

The lawsuit, filed in Florida by attorney Clay Townsend on Monday, alludes to Spears' erratic behavior of late, saying WEG made a concerted effort to work with "the various business managers hired and fired by Spears."

WEG is seeking unspecified damages and attorney fees.

Jive Records Britney Spears IRS Audit: Britney Spears Jive Records $17 Million IRS Audit

Somebody might be in trouble with the tax man. An attorney for Britney Spears revealed that the institutionalized singer’s estate is currently undergoing an IRS audit with her record label, Jive, in open court on Monday. “Ms. Spears’ estate consists of $40 million in assets and is currently undergoing a $17 million IRS audit,” Adam Streisand said during a hearing to strip Spears patriarch Jamie Spears of conservatorship over the embattled pop star. Britney Spears is in the red, and I don’t mean lipstick or anything sexy.
Her Britney Spears Foundation has a deficit — nearly $200,000 to be precise.
The foundation’s Form 900 tax filing has just arrived, and it shows that Spears came up short $195,445 for the year 2006. Total revenue was $148,614. But total expenses came to $344,063. Among the expenses were two salaries that each came to a little less than $40,000. One employee is Corina O. Biggar, who’s run Britney’s foundation from her home in Massachusetts. The other is listed as John McMahon, a former New York City cop.

In 2002, according to the Wall Street Journal, McMahon was involved in scandal concerning the Spears fund and the Boston-based Giving Back Fund, the umbrella group managing her donor-advised charity. According to the Journal, the Giving Back Fund "alleged that the agent for Ms. Spears threatened to move the pop star's charity giving to another firm if the fund manager refused to hire her friend John McMahon, a former New York City police officer. The dispute was concluded with a settlement." Another $50,000 was listed as a contribution for Britney’s summer camp for kids — although no one seems to know what’s happened to the camp, where it is, or what kids attend it — if any.

Then there’s a big chunk — $214,930 — that’s annotated as miscellaneous grants. Unfortunately, none of those grants is specified.

Come on, the more that Britney makes her own decisions, the worse the decisions are. She's gotten a little bit free of her handlers, and she's already messing up. She looked hideous in her costuming for Circus in Japan--she wouldn't wear the costumes she wore for the video, she insisted on parading around half naked in clothes that were way too tight. Now she's lost her choreographers--whether she fired them or they quit you can be assured that they are no longer there because of her poor judgment.
