These were stipulations made by the court when it last acted on this issue. But she wants to deal with the custody issue first.

I doubt if she's allowed to hire her own attorney. She has to use the court appointed attorney, who would loose $10,000 a week, if he helped her gain her freedom. She should offer her father a few million for her freedom, so he can still live the good life. Even prisoners get time off their sentence for good behavior. There's no end in sight for Brit, even with good behavior.

She agreed to the permanent c-ship because she was told (wrongly)that she'd have a better chance of getting custody of her sons. And instead of going back and forth to court every 4-5 months and extending the c-ship over and over again it was best to make it permanent. I think she was poorly advised. She can never get custody of any kind in the family court if another court is saying she can't even care for herself let alone two young kids. The most she'll get is an extra day of visitation with the boys which was supposedly going to happen anyway according to the agreement that was reached with her attorney Laura Wasser back in July. She may not have totally understood what it all meant. She just wanted to be with her kids more. The thought of not being with the boys was used to guilt trip her into making the arrangement permanent. It's not what she wanted but it's what she felt she had to do. If she tries to end the c-ship via a petition the psychiatrist,psychologist, her dad ,the other co-conservator and judge will all have to agree that she's ready to be in control of all of her affairs again. If one says no then she's screwed. This thing should end in December like it was supposed to. Her dad even said that in the OK interview. I feel for her.

The truth is she is stable enough to work. When it got to a point in time in her life when she felt like she could not handle things as all of us who have Bipolar Disorder do she crashed. It is not uncommon to self medicate. It is not an uncommon thing for that to occur as we can go and go like the energizer bunny with out minds racing and do amazing things, accomplish amazing feats even with only 9th grade educations, which by the way is what I had when I got hired by the Department of Defense in Los Angeles to work on military bases as a liasion to ROICC officers. I was able to pass the ACT test and begin college then. Do not discount Britney's intelligence. Many people have different forms of education. Britney knows things that many of us do not know how to do. She is brilliant at publicity. She simply does not know how wonderful she is. I pray that someday she will let her mind slow down enough to realize how wonderful she is. Her sons need her. But she is not a monster. She is sick. She needs her family, her hired help and her many friends and of course the fans to let her know that we just want what is best for her. To heal. On the inside. I believe the day will come when she tells about the abuse she suffered at some adults hands sexually. I believe that this is why she is the way she is about sex. I do not believe it is her father or her manager. I do believe she has some inner demons and one day she will tell somebody hopefully a discreet therapist and begin to heal.
