The Court/Judge must have realized something wasn't right when they denied her any visitation rights at all after her stunt in January. It's very difficult to lose your kids completely in California. They were concerned and/or knew something wasn't right. Wouldn't you rather err on the side of caution than ASSUME she's fine and dandy, only to discover that it's her Father that's been controlling the situation? What happens if he's not around? Do you think she's completely mentally fit to be left alone with those two boys? Thanks 8:13! The Court/Judge are primarily concerned about the well being of those two kids. They don't want any more "surprises" that will require police action. What we saw on video in early and late January was not TV drama; it was real. Britney was not in a good place mentally and it was deemed best for the kids to be taken away. I'm not a doctor trying to diagnose a mental illness, but something is not right here and hasn't been for a very long while. Sure, she's doing better since her father took control, but the fact is that he is the one in control and not her. Getting dragged away twice, one of them being physically restrained on a gurney is not what could be construed as normal behavior. She is also said to be on several medications that are the same ones used for SMI (seriously mentally ill) patients. The she left twice AMA from the facilities. Then she has to be watched carefully when she is around her kids and is still under going psychiatric care by a team of experts. Drugs abuse also an apparent problem because she even checked herself into and out of rehab a number of times. Mentally healthy people are also not subjected to conservatorships unless there is something seriously wrong. If it weren't for a concern for the children, I could really care less what she does with herself. Addiction and mental health issues are life long struggles and I think that at best, all she has to look forward to is just keeping her head above water. I fear for the kids and not her!

I say it's good for her and all the power to her. It's a step in the right direction to give her some of her responsibilities and independence back. She needs to work on it and the only way she can is if they give her some practice.
