I'm actually really scared for Britney. She has just come out of one of the worst mental states there is. Britney is NOT selling her CD, since it is NOT her CD. It is the industry that wrote the songs. It is the industry that creates her image, it is the industry that makes these videos and cuts them and edits them so she will appear to look normal or good. She is not an artist and can't create any of that. She was only able to dance years ago, but can't do that now. So she has nothing left that she can create. It is all her handlers and the industry that have done all the work. So she is nothing more then an image. This whole comeback is a farce and it will be exposed soon when Britney tries to perform live on stage over a few months on tour, and trying to sing 20 songs a night. She looks good because her handlers are dressing her up again. On her own she would not be doing all of this. We saw a few years of her “taking care of herself”, and she was not able to do it at all. That is why she is under a conservatorship now and on psychiatric medication. So acting like she is doing well because she has washed her hair, and she has nice clothes on is not proof of anything. She is not doing that herself. Her "daddy" and management are dressing up the little girl so her fans can think she is doing fine. She is not fine and she has said so herself.

Britney is under a c-ship. That means she has no legal rights or the ability to make decisions. She does not get the last say in anything. She has to do as her father (her conservator) says!

She is also mentally messed up real bad. She will be that way for life since there is no cure for it. All they can do is monitor her and keep her on major medication for the rest of her life with lots of psychiatric evaluations from time to time.

So it is her team that makes the decisions and pushes her on this naked sex tour and to lip-synch and walk around the stage. You can tell she is being force to do it and she has already said in interviews lately that she is not happy and that no one will listen to her.

She has also been doing poorly with her shows, not really caring, and walking around without much care or energy on stage. That’s her way of showing she is just not in to it. It is also her way of rebelling against her management and her father. She is trying to tell them she is not in to it and does not want to do it. But as she has said, they just won’t listen to her.

Someone should sue her team and take it to court so the truth can come out about how she is being raped and forced to perform for the public. Her handlers and father are just trying to make more money off of this poor girl who has major mental problems. If her “team” keeps pushing her, she will have another major breakdown soon with all the pressure that is being built up around her that she is being pushed in to.

Britney’s father is a creepy pervert as is her manager (Larry). Britney is under a c-ship, which only happens when you are really messed up mentally to the point that psychiatrists and a court of law finds you very incompetent to run your own life, or take care of yourself. They basically find that you are at the age of an 8 year old or worse.

After five years of unprecedented nuttiness, Team Britney is calling this her comeback album. But how is it a comeback if she never really went away?

Sure, everyone lost interest in her diminishing music awhile ago, but Spears never went anywhere except crazy. You can argue she was more popular insane than during her jailbait early years. Her downfall was front and centre, a nightly joke, and it had nothing to do with her music. And with "Circus," her music still doesn't make much difference. It's more of the pitty-pat disco, naughty innuendo and robotic production that only served her well on the first two albums. Her publicists might want to brush up on their Tina Turner circa 1984 to learn what a comeback really is.

On its own, away from the dull hype, "Circus" adds nothing to Spears' credentials, nor does it further erode them. Her formula doesn't budge, and while it yields a solid song or two - the keeper here is the simmering "Unusual You," where for once she actually does Madonna proud - the vast majority is faceless and forgettable. Spears' handlers are clearly running the show, and stripping away her personality just adds to the album's phoniness. It's telling that "Blackout," the album Spears made in full breakdown-mode two years ago, is much more interesting (though hardly great) because she stopped pretending to be anything but a voice for club producers to play with. On "Circus," she wants to be Queen Britney again, back from her demented vacation to be the good mom and sexy neighbor reborn (she looks like she's auditioning for "Desperate Housewives" on the cover). The exception is the nostalgic smut of "If U Seek Amy," which only makes sense if you say it out loud.

It really doesn't matter. Whether "Circus" flops or flies, Britney will never stop fascinating people. Her music's just along for the ride.

If you remember, she had that breakdown right after her second tour; she then flipped off the people of Mexico. She then "mysteriously" disappeared for a few months "to take a break" as her handlers told the media. Then she had another breakdown at the beginning of her Onyx tour and she did not show up for TWO of her shows, and the fans were already in their seats. Then shortly after that she started running off stage crying on her European leg of the tour. Then she started to breakdown even more as the tour went on. Then her knee went out on her and she cancelled the whole tour.

Same crap is going to happen on this joke of a tour. But it will be even worse since she is now insane. Just wait, she will crash and burn soon. It will be worse than any time before, and the tabs are going to have a field day with it all. And that is what the world is really waiting for. They are not really interested in her comeback (except for a few delusional fans, lol). And her fans are going to be screaming and crying again as usual while the haters laugh, and laugh, and laugh as usual, lol.

Britney has constantley had breakdowns throught her career. Is is the way she is. And a BIG BREAKDOWN will happen when she is in the middle of this tour. It will fall apart real fast.

I hated Britney’s X Factor performance. Not because she mimed while half-heartedly waving and strolling about, or because she hadn’t washed her hair, or even because of the awkward, robotic interview.

I hated it because the spark has gone from her eyes.

Watching her documentary on Monday night it became all too clear why.

Britney: For The Record was a chilling portrait of modern celebrity that every kid who says they want to be famous should be forced to watch in full.

It made me want to resign from the human race.

If you’ve ever felt envious of Britney’s success, money or looks here’s a bittersweet irony – she’s been jealous of you the whole time. Because you can leave your house right now if you want, and do something simple like go for a walk. And she can’t. Ever.
She’s literally a prisoner. She can’t pop to the shops, meet a mate for a drink or take her sons out without chaos ensuing. So she got cut off from the world, then so desperately lonely she let bad people into her life, and the rest is pop culture history.

Britney’s life has now been taken over by her dad, who thinks it’s best for her to immerse herself in work because then she’s removed from “the real world” and will have no time or energy for anything else.

She’s being analysed by doctors and lawyers – and every celebrity junkie in the world – so daddy’s word is law. And so Britney works, constantly smiling no matter how she’s feeling, and then she goes home, to a different kind of prison, where her father’s the warden.

She says, “There’s no excitement, no passion, it’s like Groundhog Day, every day.”
Later she decides that “it’s better just not to feel anything at all”, which may well be the most depressing sentence I’ve ever heard in my life.

The pressures of superstardom wrecked Britney’s head (and hair) so it’s absolutely baffling that anyone could think pushing her back into the limelight JUST as she’s beginning to recover is a smart move.

It’s like waiting for your sight to return so you can poke yourself in the eye again.
And yet Britney’s new album, and tickets for her 2009 world tour went on sale this week.
Outwardly, she’s going through the motions, but that’s all she’s doing. She explains: “When I tell people how I feel, they’re hearing but not listening. It’s bad.”

And then her face crumples, her eyes fill with tears and she whispers simply: “I’m sad.”
I’m much more scared for Britney now than I was when she was shaving her head and being strapped down for her own safety. Because at least then the people around her were aware something was wrong.

Britney Spears' triumphant comeback lost a little bit more of its romantic luster today, thanks to Rolling Stone publishing an interview with writer Jenny Eliscu where she opens up about how Spears had become much more sheltered between the time the two first met in the summer of 2001—when a chatty Spears walked Eliscu through her then-new Hollywood Hills mansion—and earlier this year, when there were instances where the two people breathed the same airspace, but didn't speak to one another. Eliscu also talks about how Spears' legal status affected her reporting:

You've heard her quote from the documentary Britney: For the Record about how she feels like a prisoner. Did you get that vibe from her?

The thing is, when I met with her, I wasn't looking for that. I had started to feel uncomfortable with all the restrictions, like submitting my questions for approval and not being left alone with her. And whenever I asked who was making these rules, I was told it had to do with the conservatorship. Like most people, I didn't know much about conservatorships or how they're supposed to work. Of course, the funny coincidence is that the most famous conservatorship in recent years isn't even Britney's: Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were being run by a government conservatorship. And we see how brilliantly that turned out (It turned out horrible!).

Anyway, I had done some preliminary research into it, but I was not yet aware how hard Britney had tried to fight it initially and why. As my research progressed, it started to become clear to me that this might not be something that should still be in place. Because it is designed, ideally, to protect people who are seriously ill. We're talking about people who are non compus mentis, according to the lawyers I consulted. Or they're in a vegetative state. Or they're just so old that they can't take care of themselves anymore.

But Britney? It was making less and less sense as time went on.

So, as I say, it wasn't until after my last meeting with her that I realized how far beyond the scope of my interview this level of control extended into all facets of her life. And so, unfortunately, I wasn't, like, checking to see if she blinked out an S.O.S. code or whatever. But in hindsight, I did have a new understanding of the quote of hers at the end of the story, which is the last thing she said to me, in the context of being interviewed.

She was describing this song she wrote about artistic expression and masquerade — pretending to be other people and putting on shows. And she says, "Through this, you create your world." The song is about a girl who likes to live in a world of make-believe, and she's got all these people trying to come into her world that she didn't invite in. It's pretty telling. When you think about it, Britney Spears is an artist — a pop artist, in the truest sense — and sometimes artists do crazy things. I'm not sure why Britney isn't allowed to act out in the ways that we normally consider acceptable from artists. And we're guilty too because we created this Britney Spears character and we won't let her change.

Kevin HAS legal custody of the kids. He must be doing %100 percent better with the kids then Britney ever did. A court of law, her parents, the lawyers, AND the public are in agreement with him having the kids with FULL custody. So Britney is the major screw up. In California it is almost impossible for a mother to lose her babies to a man. So the point is, if Kevin is such a scum bag and f*ck up, then imagine how much worse Britney must be for Kevin to have won complete custody of them.

All it proves is that Britney is insane and an evil mother if Kevin gets them. So deal with it Britards. Your queen is an even bigger loser as a mother then Kevin is as a father!

Britney’s fans and her management need to let up on Brit. The girl just went through a nightmare for the last few years. She ended up on a psych ward twice because she went crazy. You can tell in her performances of late that she is just not in to it anymore. She has even said so a few times. She sometimes looks like she is about to breakdown. It is her management and her fans that are going to kill her. A lot of people feel this way who have really taken a good look at her. But her fans just want to party at her expense. If she does have a breakdown again, it will be the fault of the industry and her fans. They will be responsible for pushing her to hard and to fast. You can tell she is not in to it anymore. She needs some real peace and quiet, her kids back, the conservatorship over, and her freedom!
