Loving your child and being a good mother can be two different things. A good mother puts the interests of her children ahead of her own. She stays home with them once in awhile. She feeds them. She changes their diapers. She gets up and goes to them when they cry at night. Most of all she is a positive, stable and nurturing presence in their lives.
