SPEARS DOCUMENTARY DISAPPOINTING

MTV’s documentary Britney: For the Record aired Sunday night with the premise: "No topic was off limits. No question went unanswered."

Umm, not so much. Britney Spears started to answer questions but would then trickle off.

Most of her answers were along the lines of this: "I just did it because, for the sake -- the idea of everything, and um, it just led me on a weird path," when talking about marrying Kevin Federline.

Britney even took over for the interviewer asking herself, "I'm a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?" Unfortunately, she didn’t answer the question but instead it was left dangling.

When asked why she shaved her head, Britney gave more of a straightforward answer saying, "I was going through so much artificial stuff with my kids and Kevin at the time. He'd just left me and I was devastated. ... People shave their heads all the time."

There were brief moments when she let her guard down saying, "It's better just not to feel anything at all and to have hope, than to feel the other way."

She talked about fleeing from her home as a form of escapism saying, "I just remember I did not want to be at home.” She went on to say, "when I was in my car and when I was driving, I was going somewhere."

At the end of the documentary, director Phil Griffin pushes for more, asking what Britney would say to people who think she hasn't been honest enough.

"I'll have a good book one day,” Britney replied. “A good, mysterious book."

After seeing her documentary last night, it really hit me that she really is over. She is insne, takes no responsibility for herself. She blames everyone esle for her donditon and her destructive actions. She does not "own" anything, but pushess it on everyone else. And now with this mediocre documentary and her stage shows where she lip-synchs and walks aroud the stage like a zombie, it is clear she is gone forever. I used to be a huge fan, now I just can't stand her.

That's funny, I have been checking a lot of websites, and a lot of her fans are leaving her now.

I agree with you 12:05, just like most people do. Britney is already over. Almost everyone, including the press, are really disgusted with her and her MTV infomercial and her three terrible shows. I saw Britneys performances on youtube of the Bambi Awards, Star Academy, and X Factor. She lip-sync'd through all 3 shows! I know she used to lip-sync in her concerts, but this time she should have done it live. It would have looked better. Instead it looked like a repeat of the VMA awards last year! She is NOT ready for a concert comeback. Her dance moves left alot to be desired.
