Adnan actually answered a quick question I had about boxing ( I bet he enjoyed a non-Brit question). He is a man who obviously knows that sometimes long winded answers are not always the best option. I think it is wise for him to be somewhat cryptic in his answers. I think a lot of people have underestimated him and it is often good to have people underestimate you. I think he totally underestimated how much negative response he was going to get from all this. You just know that someday he's going to release some info that's gonna net him a ton of money and even more notoriety! Rosebud, you can't honestly tell what he is thinking, because his answers were all very well measured. That usually seems suspicious, but since I don't know him, it's hard to tell. Personally, I think he is the quintessential opportunist. His biggest error was probably saying he was going to hook up with her before it happened. I'm guessing he would prefer to make his pile of cash and escape before he has to reveal too much that would really incriminate his personality and reputation. I believe his main drivers were money and fame, which he has already achieved to a degree. I doubt he is trying to be overtly mean, but he seems to be willing to use her as his vehicle to further himself. A kissing bandit of sorts. But then again, what do I know. This is all I asked him:

I haven't seen much of his TV interviews, but from what I've seen he appears to have had media training!

Notice how he answered the question the way HE wanted, not how it was asked. Very smooth.

MMA, for those who don't know, is Mixed Martial Arts. I've been training for 15 years, but I don't fight competitively. It's not what I train for and it's a game mainly for people younger than I am anyway. What I study is for survival and self defense and not for beating up people at bars.
In hindsight, I wish I would have asked Adnan if he got his nose broken boxing or in a brawl, not that it would really matter, just curious.

Britney is disgusting. The only reason she has any air time is everyone is waiting for her to mess up, show her crotch,etc. She's a freak show.

Rosebud, I think he is a very intelligent person and uses it over people who underestimate him. It is a sign of intelligence to answer such questions in the matter he has. It also helped to be able to answer what he wanted to be asked and they threw him softballs that he could knock out of the park. I've seen people question his morals, but never his intelligence ( although hooking up with Brit would not be what I would consider to be wise in anyway- I'm not a greedy person either). There are still some wild eyed conspiracy theories on it, but most is very credible. They just did an terrifying story on ID chips and how the entire world is moving towards it. Lots of other stuff too. Yeah, sorry so off topic to the others, but this is a slowish thread anyway. If you subscribe to Brasscheck, they send at least one video per day to your email and you won't get spammed or have your email used in any bad way. Their archives cover just about everything!

Everybody knows why that appearance was 'record-setting'. People like to watch a good train wreck.

What's this about great ratings? Maybe she helped the ratings go up for one show. But the reality is that 20.3M people watched Dancing with the Stars and only 10.6M watched HIMYM. The whole idea was to get a higher rating than DWTS, right? So she didn't do it.

Sorry, 10:56, but I have to strongly disagree. I think you place waaayyy too much emphasis on what she has actually done in her career. She is given music written and chosen for her on a platter by producers and execs that know what they are doing. After that, her voice is heavily remixed, by top experts, until it is safe for public consumption. The 'package' is then marketed to the public along with whatever image is decided upon. There is a very good reason why you will never see a live album and/or one written solely by her own hand. Without the whole packaging done by her handlers, there would not be much left of her. I do agree that her father is making strides, but if she is cut loose on her own, I absolutely do not think that she will do well at all. I have also never witnessed anything remotely what I consider to be high intelligence coming from her. If anything, when left to her own devices, she has made nothing but very poor decisions. The main focus on her as of late has not been because of her musical contributions, but simply people's desires to watch self caused trauma. The so called Spears money machine in hyper-inflated by the vulturous public's desire consume details of her daily struggles. That's why people, such as the owners of this very blog, are making hand over fist when makes yet another error in judgment comes from her.
