Britney says NO! to Plea Offer
Looks like Brit's going to trial y'all.
Prosecutors going after Brit for driving without a valid California driver's license made a last minute plea offer to end the case before the trial that is set to begin next week. They wanted brit to pay a $150 fine, and receive a year of probation.
But Britney's lawyer, J. Michael Flanagan rejected the deal. "I will not plead her to any criminal offense," he told X17online. Flanagan also said he believes Brit is being treated differently by the court because of her celebrity status. "If it were anyone else, they'd show the court that he or she now has a valid license and that would be the end of it," Flanagan said
