I do think that K-Fed (over an extended period of time, including during their marriage) and Kaplan (by deliberately making her a continuing target of papparazzi) contributed greatly to Britney's breakdown - I hope they're happy.

Didn't the judge in the conservatorship case order a psych evaluation at the beginning of Feb? And when the conservatorship was extended on Feb 14 to March 10, the judge ordered that it MUST be done by March 10. It's not Brit's fault that it wasn't done, as her father, the conservator, decides who she can see or speak with. It's up to him to get this done. And I bet he's dragging his feet on this one, as she's probably not bi-polar. Just wants to do her own thing. Now her father wants her locked up in a private facility. I see her condition as being multi-layered:
Layer One: mental disorder of schizophrenia or some combo of such (genetic, perhaps brought on by years of drug abuse);
Layer Two: years of drug abuse (drugs either sped up the process of mental disease or were used because they helped to lessen the anguish of the disease);
Layer Three: arrogant spoiled brat disease which caused Layers One and Two to become more pronounced.

On November 27-28 she showed up hours late for her video shooting and worked on it 9 hours overnight. That location was the same location she and her Dad went to for dinner where she had the lobster burger. She didn't remember being there or ever being upstairs for the video shoot -- less than 3 months ago.

Ok so if she is a spoiled rotten brat that is dumb a bitch, that is complety clueless and selfish she still has the right to see her kids. There are pedipholies murderers,junkies and the like that see there kids EVERDAY. The girl has accomplished much in her life. Regardless of her personality. She should see her kids. And if she is taking meds that she does NOT need no wonder she looks the way she does.

Clearly, Brits situation has not improved, NOR has she been able to convince anyone she is capable of even being in the presence of her children, YES, get her to a live-in care facility for at least 6 months --

She will certainly (if her illness has not completely taken over her entire life) be able to have the time and space to really work through her stuff.

If she can teach a hour class of little girls how to dance, I think it's safe to say she can say "hello" to the little ones for 30 minutes a couple of times a week. GEEZ...the little ones are told that she is on vacation. Giving Britney a reward for maintaining in public, not driving, seeking therapy, controlling the drugs would give her positive reinforcement, and a light at the end of the tunnel. If anything, anything can help her, it would be those little boys. I think it's worth a try. And, if it didn't go well, all they have to do is ANOTHER "ex parte" to the judge, and yank it back. This is ridiculous. I've seen drug addicts and gang people get more rights to see their children in family court than Britney. Yes, I have sat in family court, and actually seen them get more rights than her. This is nothing but GRAND standing. Why couldn't the judge intervene and put resonable restrictions. Again, she can teach other little girls how to dance appropriately in a class without supervision for one hour, and do the choo choo train, but she is not stable enough for her own kids. who cares what she retains...this is a short visit to say hello to her boys. I can't remember things either, but I'm still a mom. Believe you me, you have a couple of kids, and the memory goes. Britney is afraid to take the psych eval. Commissioner Gordon won't restore visitation or custody without it. It is a stand-off right now, but Commissioner Gordon could push it. He hasn't yet.

Children are not a proper reward or punishment. This is not a situation of "be good and you can see your kids" kind of controlling. That is totally improper and dysfunctional. The proper focus is the kids need a capable Mommy. Britney can't be that now. Seeing the children is not a right, reward or privilege. That's about Britney's behavior. This hearing is about the best interests of the children -- what do Sean and Jayden need. Of course they need a healthy Daddy and a healthy Mommy. They do not need a hysterical, drugged, conned, mental-illness-not-managed-yet, out of control, dangerous parent (male or female parent). Commissioner Gordon just wants to see a safe, stable Britney. The psych eval is one piece of that evidence. It's all up to Britney to show Commissioner Gordon that she's ready. The power is in her hands to show she is ready AND TO SUSTAIN BEING READY AND CAPABLE LONG TERM. Britney can't even make it to court.

I am a 34 year old mother of 2. I have a full time job. I do not party (there is nothing wrong if you do) I don't do drugs, I am complety devoted to my children, their needs will always come before mine. I do smoke cigarettes (I really should quit) which I do outside. I might have the odd glass of wine every now and then. I believe that I do have a good head on my shoulders. I come on here because it is my guilty pleasure (once I am done work, the kids are fed the house is clean) I am by no means a fan of Britney (I dont hate her either, how can I? I dont know her from jack) But I do believe that she should be able to see her kids. Regardless of who she has become. There are far worse people out there. They are making her out to be this monster. You must realize that if she was NOT famous, she would have those kids right now. There is something very wrong with this story and she is getting a raw deal.

I have never seen so many people who don't have a clue about mental illness. This woman is severely sick and it's way more than bipolar. How can anyone not see that? She was still talking in the British Accent just last night and her own mom says she has the mind of a child. She more than likely has Schizophrenia with all the weird talking, dressing up in wigs, paranoia, etc. She can't even take care of herself. This is besides the drugs and alcohol abuse over years of time. She needs to be in an inpatient mental facility where she can be evaluated and diagnosed properly, for a long duration of time. This isn't about her. It's about those babies, and until Britney makes it CLEAR that she's willfully wanting and trying to get better, those kids shouldn't visit her. They'll work it out if she really wants to see them, she'll do what ever it takes.

There's a lot more going on with Britney's mental condition than unmanaged bi-polar disorder. Perhaps the private treatment center is a longer term residential facility -- like months or maybe years. It sounds like Britney has been brain injured. That takes a very long time -- sometimes years to get better -- if at all. Did Lufti do this (or at least aggravate it?)
