the income starts low at 10k and u look to the right where it tells you how much support a parent has to pay based on earning 10k a year etc. The higher the amount of earned income for the year, the higher the amount next to it states the monthly amount a person of that yearly income level has to pay a month in Child Support.

If britney makes a lot more money in her cd royalties and perfume sales this year than he has the right to bring a motion to court(Only in 2008 as based on 2007 yearly earnings) to request a higher amount of child support to match the guidelines of her new higher income.
