Britney Won't Be Like a Virgin
Although Brit briefly considered playing the modernized role of Mary in French filmmaker's upcoming movie, Sweet Baby Jesus, the producer, Philippe Rebboah, has confirmed to Fox News that Brit has passed up the opportunity to play a pregnant 19-year-old who believes her unborn son is the second coming.
Milk's Alison Pill has now signed on to play the role left vacant by Brit. The film will also star Tom Green, Lily Tomlin and Sean Brosnan (Pierce's son).
But although she won't be playing the virgin mother, Brit is still eager to participate in some way. According to Rebboah, Brit was so taken with the script, that she's now considering writing and performing the closing number!
If she doesn't want to write something new, we think we have just the thing she could cover...
