I know a girl in my neighborhood that had a good job working with lawyers and was studying to be one herself. Out of no where she became a "crack" addict. She always did like coke and loved the clubs because she loved to dance.

I agree Sam has mental issues. This was almost like Stockholm Syndrome. Britney was isolated from her family and really almost held captive by Sam, for a very long time. I'm not saying it was love, but a dependence of the wrong kind with the worst person. Sam took full advantage of her mental state, and manipulated her as well as other people in her life.
