I saw PETA donating fur coats that had been donated to them by people who realized fur was nasty to homeless people who really needed those coats to survive, like a week ago. I also love God's little creatures and always have, since I was a kid. You can look deep into the eyes of an animal and feel what they are feeling.
I am not an activist, and I don't really know if these animals on Britneys show are being abused by making them perform or not, because we do train our domesticated animals to do tricks just for the fun of it. But when it comes to means of using electric shock, and whips, and chaining them up., that is definitely abuse.
I myself, have become more aware of the cruelty of these little creatures for the benefit of " Man's " ego. I read the labels on clothes & outterwear now, determined not to purchase anything with fur.
I don't think they are targeting Britney, for their own fame, because I watch shows where they actually board ships, and put their lives on the line for the love of these animals. Perhaps their approach seems aggresive, but because they have been doing this for so many years now, and people should by now know their commitment, and that it should also by now make entertainers and the like think before incorporating any kind of controversial animal acts into their productions.
Does anyone know the answer to this situation? Truthfully, I think it would have been better to rewrite the script and leave the animals out of it.
