Britney Spears seemed to remain calm when she accidentally rear-ended a Ford Explorer while driving down Sunset in Beverly Hills this afternoon.

Britney (who was seen texting on her phone earlier) was in the center lane on Sunset, behind the maroon Ford Explorer, when the cars in the left hand lane got a green light to turn left on Hillcrest. Britney saw the cars in the left lane accelerating in her peripheral vision, and thought she had a green light as well.

That's when the minor incident occured.

Although both cars sustained very minor damage, luckily there don't seem to be any injuries.

Britney's now safely back at home where she appears to be unshaken by the incident.

OMG her accident happened to me and some of my friends, however no actual accident occur. i see people do it all the time cause you think its your light and so cars starts to move, then i see cars infront of me about to accelerate. jeez it was no big deal it happens!

Me and my little dog Holly have been putting our little heads together and trying to think of a way to be helpful to Britney, by finding a way for her daddy Mr Jamie Spears to test Britney's mental competence to drive, before she turns Beverly Hills into Death Race 2000. Our helpful suggestion for Mr Spears is to get a T-shirt for Britney's sexy bodyguard which he could reveal by opening his jacket when the paparazzi appear. Me and Holly think that a slogan such as; "I'm With Porky" should do the trick, and by gauging Britney's reaction he would know if she's of sound mind or completely ga-ga. If Britney laughs and smiles and takes it all in good part then she's obviously fit to be behind the wheel, but if she goes batshit crazy and tries to club the sexy bodyguard to death with a golfing umbrella, then it's obviously time for Queen B to be carted off to the loony bin in a straight jacket.
