Brit's Lawyer Doesn't Want Her to End Up Like Paris
After paying an unspecified amount to the woman whose car she hit back in August, Britney Spears' case has been dismissed. But her legal woes are far from over. In addition to a custody hearing taking place downtown tomorrow, Britney will still have to answer to a driving without a California license violation. Although Britney has always had a license and insurance, Brit's attorney, Michael Flanagan said today that the judge wants to place her on probabation for the violation, most likely for 12 months. Flanagan wants to avoid this at all costs for fear of another "Paris situation." Because, as we all know, the punishment for violation of probation could be much more severe than the initial infraction.
The good news is that this case has been resolved (in fact it was the woman whose car Brit hit that asked for the dismissal in the first place!), and now Brit can concentrate on the others!
