The singer broke down after her first court-ordered check - one of a set of new requirements laid down by a judge in the her bitter child-custody battle with ex-hubby Kevin Federline.

A judge would NEVER EVER give an order for BRITNEY to be the only party to have a drug test if he felt Tony's testimony was false. There is video to go along with his testimony. That is what was sealed and so damning. It was viewed in the judges chambers by both attorneys....that is why they did NOT question Tony.

Britney also would NOT be crying when leaving her drug test if she didn't have a drug problem. If innocent, she'd come out looking annoyed, but not upset.

I do think Fat Tony's declaration did weight in on the judge's decision to order drug tests but I don't think he completely believe the story.

If she were that much of a danger to her kids she would have lost custody temporarily and would have been ordered to rehab instead of keeping custody 50/50.

In a way, you answer your own questions: She's begging for attention and recognition, now thet she's slowly falling apart as a person. She probably believed she were, or ought to be, identical to her fabricated, public image.

If the judge or social services thought the children were in any real danger, they would immediately take them away from her. They cannot take a chance with lives because of the lawsuits that would follow, especially after this much publicity.

Big Fat Tony needs to watch out for a lawsuit because I think he has broken every kind of contract I've ever heard about when celebrities hires personnel to work in their home and family, If he came from an agency, I'm sure they have a standard confidentiality clause in their contracts.

What he has done of course makes him very untrustworthy and also reflects on the agency where he came from. If he was so worried, why has he waited so long, and why did he continue to work in a home where he felt children were in danger?

Yes, the order started when the hearing was over, but we don't have any proof that she had a drug test that particular day. I just think, considering how much she is followed if she had gone to a clinic there would be pictures. Of course I don't know for sure.

SECRETLY snorted cocaine over TWO NIGHTS with pals in a trendy LA nightclub.

Man mountain, 6ft 7in Barretto —nicknamed Fat Tony—told us: "I gave evidence to the court because Britney is out of control and needs help. "I have done this for her children. She's not a good mother. She has mental problems. With her drug and booze issues, her home is no place for kids to be raised." His last-minute evidence capped a nightmare week for Britney in which she was dumped by her manager Jeff Kwatinetz and her lawyer. She hired married dad-of-two Tony—a former private eye—days after checking out of the Promises rehab centre in Malibu on March 26 and publicly declaring she had beaten booze and drug problems.

Tony is a drugs expert after going on a ten-week police course about their dangers. He realized Britney's willpower had not lasted—on the frightening night of May 2 in Los Angeles, just hours before the start of her comeback tour in Anaheim she went on a date with pop artist Day, 26—who she'd met in rehab—telling her worried protection team she didn't need them. Tony said:

"We did security checks on Howie and told her he was trouble. But she ignored us."

Hours later hysterical Britney, 25, called aides, claiming Day was refusing to let her leave their hotel room. Tony recalled: "She said she wanted to cancel the tour. She was very confused. We asked her if she was OK and reminded her she had a show to do. Then Howie came on the phone and started arguing with us. We knew we had to get to her fast."

Tony raced to LA's plush Mondrian Hotel with another bodyguard and Britney's best friend and PA Alli Sims. When they got to their room they found the door open and an appalling scene inside. Tony said:

"We could see Britney all red-eyed from crying. Howie was lying in his boxers asleep on the bed. The hotel room was trashed. "There were half-eaten plates of food everywhere. There were blankets all over the floor, clothes strewn everywhere. The trash was emptied everywhere over the floor. "The entire place was littered with empty beer bottles and liquor bottles, small glasses of ice and cigarette butts everywhere. "On the surface of the dresser, I could see mounds of white powder and a straw on top. I suspected it was cocaine or powdered methamphetamines. "By the side I spotted a glass pipe, which I knew from my drugs training was often used with crystal meth." The drug has similar effects to amphetamine and ecstasy. Overdosing can cause heart failure.

"It was very distressing. Eventually we decided to get her out of there. We grabbed her and took her downstairs. All the time all she could say was, ‘I don't feel good'. "In the car she was really odd. She kept asking for the air conditioner to be turned up because she was sweating so much. I knew that was a bad sign. "Somehow, we managed to get her to the gig and on stage in time. When she started singing she was staring intensely at me. She was out of it. "I kept telling the other guard she needed help but he said she'll get you if that's the case." Critics later panned her performance for lip-synching to her biggest hits. Tony said: "On the way home, she was making up strange songs and singing them in a weird voice. "Then she wound down the window and started yelling, ‘I'm a rock star. I'm a rock star'."

It wasn't the only time Tony witnessed Britney with drugs. "I saw her snort white powder on two nights out at Teddy's nightclub in LA," he said. "The first time, she was in a private booth. She sat with another girl. "The second time she had asked me to walk her to the rest room. After she'd been inside for about half an hour I poked my head round the door. There she was with a straw up her nose." Most disturbing for dad-of-two Tony was her still being hung over by booze and drugs at home with the kids close by. "There were times when Britney appeared to be under the influence near them," he said. "It was frightening. "She has a whiskey stash in her pantry—and even if the children are close by, that doesn't stop her drinking. After rehab she didn't want people to see her boozing. So in clubs she'd have Jack Daniel's and coke in polstyrene cups so it would look like coffee." Tony added: "I noticed that when she was under the influence of drugs at home, she behaved the same way as she'd done on drugs at the club.

"I was worried about the children due to her erratic behavior. She wouldn't talk to them at all and she would be in her own world. "I remember being in the hallway, and she was at the other end looking completely out of it. "She would be nervously chewing her fingernails and babbling away. We'd have to look after the kids while she went through her strange behavior. "I know enough about drugs to know she was not being the normal Britney." Tony's fears led to him making his 11th hour deposition at this week's custody hearing. His US attorney Gloria Allred described his evidence as "highly explosive". It could spell the end of Britney's hopes of gaining custody of her children from ex-husband Federline. The LA court judge was so appalled by it that, on top of the weekly drug tests, he ordered Britney to do eight-hour weekly sessions with a parenting coach. Tony said: "I hope this will be a wake-up call to her. I like Britney. All I want is for her to be a success and good mum."

BABBLE SCARED SONS
BRITNEY'S young children were often FRIGHTENED by their mum talking to them in weird voices, according to Tony.

He also told how she kept Jayden James and Sean Preston up late so they would sleep through the mornings and not wake her. If they woke early, a member of staff dealt with them. Tony said:

"Britney does love her kids but she is a fickle mum. When the kids are happy, she's happy. When they're crying or unwell, she's not sure what to do.

"She speaks to them in weird, creepy, baby voices, in made-up languages, which they just don't get. All it does is unsettle, upset and scare them. Often she would scream and cry uncontrollably. Imagine what that is like for young children." Tony said he never saw her feed the boys. He added: "When they are unwell, her answer is: ‘Give the baby a bottle of medicine.' I've never seen her deal with them like a full, attentive mum." Tony knew he had to take action when Britney nearly wrote off her car with the kids inside. He said: "We followed her but she was driving like a lunatic on the wrong side of the road. It was terrifying." On Friday Britney was charged with hit-and-run and driving without a license after allegedly crashing into a parked car in a separate incident. She could face up to six months in jail.

After that she usually eats sushi for lunch or bowls of Special K. "We were always having to go out to get her Special K. "And she downs can after can of Red Bull or cola. She drinks three Red Bulls an hour. That completes her daily routine."

One of Tony's other duties involved vetting Britney's mail. He said: "I was pretty shocked to discover the number of stalkers she has. "She would get two letters a day from stalkers—and some of them were way out there. "She attracts some pretty sick types. What she needs more than anything is her family round her. I never ever met or saw her mother or sister Jamie Lynn because she had fallen out with them. "She never mentioned their names ever. "But when I first started work, one of the most important directives I was given was, ‘My dad is NOT to be on this property'. That was made very clear." It really mattered to her. "She'd say, ‘Do you think I look nice, y'all?' We'd all tell her ‘yes'—because we didn't want to risk putting our jobs on the line. Or being on the end of her temper. Mobile phones didn't last long in the star's hands. "In eight weeks, I saw her get through SIX expensive cellphones," said Tony. "She'd smash them up or throw them out of the window during phone fights with Kevin Federline."

One thing Britney hated was getting too close to her fans. "She loved shopping and not just in the classy shops. She'd often have us arrange for RiteAid to be closed down so she could shop without anyone bothering her. The only time she was happy was when she was shopping. Tony added: "She could certainly spend money—even in junk shops. In one, she spent £4,000 on stuff including an old chandelier. "I spent 45 minutes putting up the thing for her and then it didn't work. Britney's response was, ‘Get rid of it'.

"Money was no object because she didn't know the value of it. "I remember she decided to go to Puerto Rico on a whim. We found a private jet she could hire. "It cost £30,000. But then just before she was due to go, she changed her mind. "When we told her that there was a £20,000 cancellation fee because it was such short notice, her attitude was 'doesn't matter, don't care'.
"We were given up to £3,000 a day—but Britney couldn't be trusted to look after it herself."
As well as the money, Tony would also have to drip-feed Britney the 100 Marlboro Lights that she chain-smoked through her empty days. Tony added: "She employs four bodyguards but we were all at her beck and call like servants and asked to do things we weren't supposed to do."

BRITNEY made dozens of bizarre hygiene demands on her workers—while she burped and farted in front of them.

How do you know why she put the sweater on and how cold or warm the child was? Children definitely tell you when they are not happy or need something. Nature made them that way so that their needs are met.

The sweater and outfit might have been for comfort, or she felt it was more appropriate clothing for her activities that day, or she just wanted to put them on. I wouldn't know because I wasn't there and don't know them.

Fat Tony is not after money. It is so strange that everytime someone talks against Britney, her fans ALWAYS say that is is because of money. Gloria Allred is an advocate for children. She always has been. This is why Fat Tony went to her to represent him. You can't just walk into court by yourself. He had to have a lawyer. While she is not my favorite attorney, you can't slam her for doing her job. She had every right to be there representing him. If you will remember, she also represented Amber in the Scott Peterson case, along with countless other cases.

I am by no means a fan of Britney Spears or of Kevin but it's a sad world that there is so much hatred for one person. I amazed at the amount and intensity of hatred for someone that none of you have met.

You all (fans and hater) feel you know this person by a moment in time picture, one minute video clips on a GOSSIP website and the word of a man who may or may not be telling the truth. DCFS has a case file on Britney. If they had found evidence there was abuse they would have acted.

Also, the children's own father has never claimed that the children are being abused. He has only insuated about the drug use.

My point was not abuse. It was that people are judging based on information collected from gossip sites. Britney's case is in the hands of the court. They will deal with her IF they find any evidence to be concerned about.

As for the nannies. Do you know how many children are raised by nannies. Not only do celebrities and rich parents use them but more higher income families are now using them as well. She is not a unique case and again last time i checked not a crime to use nannies.

Even the most innocent people have been made to look really bad in depositions and on witness stands. Their words have often been twisted and misinterpreted to fit the desires of those questioning them.

TROUBLED pop star Britney Spears broke down in tears yesterday as she drove to her lawyer's office.

She was wearing a straw hat and preppy glasses to hide her face as her problems mounted again.

Paparazzi swarmed around her and one bystander said: "She looked bad. Her face was puffy and her eyes appeared swelled up."

The singer was at attorney Sorrell Trope's office in LA after being charged over an alleged hit-and-run and driving without a licence on August 6.

The 25-year-old, who is facing up to a year in jail, was caught on camera in her car hitting a parked vehicle in a car park in the LA suburb of Studio City.

The case, which will be heard on October 10, could seriously damage her battle to keep custody of her two young sons.

Trope is Britney's third lawyer in less than a week.

On Monday, Laura Wasser removed herself from the star's bitter custody case with ex-hubby Kevin Federline.

Lawyer Marci Levine filled in briefly before Britney hired Trope on Wednesday.

The latest development comes days after a court ordered Britney to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week in her custody dispute with Federline over Sean Preston and Jayden James.

She must also see a parenting coach for eight hours a week.

Britney was recently dropped by her management firm and her act at this month's MTV Video Awards was panned.

I do not wear rose colored glasses and unlike some people posting here i try to go by facts. I actually do agree with you that she has drugs issues and i would add possibly emotional issues (ie bi polar). That doesn't mean she cannot get help and turn herself around.

As i said before her case is in the courts and they will deal with her. Personally I feel the judges orders can help her. Between the drug tests and counselling sessions she may finally get the help she need.

But the judge did not find at this point that she is a danger to her children. If there was a concern for safety of the children they would have handed temporary custody over to Kevin and not kept it 50/50.

From what i have read. the counselling requirements are very normal in california custody desputes.

To the people who keep saying that if the judge found Brtiney a danger to her children he would have not kept custody 50/50. We have been over this same point about 20 times, so please listen this time.....

No judge wants to take a child away from a mom unless he can be assured that there is something to warrant this. This judge is giving Britney a Wakeup Call, OK? With me so far?..This is why he ordered the randon drug tests twice a week for her. The results will be sent to him and if she fails even one of these tests, her kids will be taken away. The judge has to have PROOF! Just because the judge doesn't have proof at this time, does not mean that Britney is not a danger to her kids! She well may be, but the judge CANNOT remove them at this time!! Kevin is still seeking 70/30 custody. The custody case has not even started. There is a list of witnesses, besides Fat Tony, so Kevin has plenty of time to prove his case.

Ok Bottomline Folks..The judge cannot legally change custody at this time because he doesn't have the proof needed AT THIS TIME to do so.

JUST BECAUSE THE JUDGE KEPT THE CUSTODY AGREEMENT 50/50 IN NO WAY PROVES THAT BRITNEY SPEARS IS NOT A DANGER TO HER CHILDREN!!!! HE DID EVERYTHING THAT HE LEGALLY COULD DO AT THIS TIME.

No sir. If the judge or social welfare thought for a minute that the children were endangered, they would be removed immediately. Why, they'd remove a dog that they thought was endangered, so why not a child?

No court is going to dilly dally around waiting for a parent to do damage. They clearly have alternative homes to live in while the danger is being assessed, if they think there is a danger. Britney has had several home studies by the welfare department already and has not been found to be deficient in a sufficient manner to warrant removing her children, even temporarily.

The judge has the authority to do whatever he wants to do for a limited number of days.

9:48 is completely correct. The judge has everything authority to give temporary custody to Kevin if he felt Britney was a danger to her children as her bodyguard claims.

I am also getting it from the California Family Code, which states:

"If allegations of child abuse are made during a custody proceeding and the court has concerns regarding the child's safety, the court may take reasonable, temporary steps as the court, in it's descretion, deem appropriate under the circumstances to protect the child's safety until an investigation can be completed."

So if Fat Tony stated in his declaration that she was suicidal and a danger to her kids he would have given kevin full custody.

She was given the order to submit to drugs test therefore the judge feels there is enough concern about drugs use allegations.

1:08 I read your story, but panic attacks can occur alone, with even just simple depression or other mental disorders. Psychosis occurs with Schizophrenia. I know this because my son has had this illness for many years. Schizophrenia cannot be helped by counseling alone. You have to be on medication. It sounds like in your case, you had major depression that developed nearly into full blown Schizophrenia. I am glad you got the help you needed and are doing well, but I would hate for people to think just because they have episodes of panic attacks, it will lead to Psychosis. This is not always the case. I agree that Britney could have some type of Mental Disorder, but that would best be diagnosed by a highly skilled psychiatrist. Don't get me wrong, I realize you are trying to help and want to tell your story, but each case is different. God Bless and continued Health.

I was on the ‘payroll’ for Britney very briefly late last year. I was around her and her two beautiful boys for only a short period of time. I do not believe she is the best parent she can be. I think she should have been partying and drinking way before she decided to have not one, but two children! I think she needs serious help, from outside people as well as those close to her. I was completely disrespected by her when I was with her. She had no idea what was going on around her at the time(she was very aloof! of her surroundings). She is disrespectful of those around her. She treats everyone as if they can be replaced in a moments notice, if they do not do as she orders them to. I was not allowed in the room with her without a ‘third person’. I was specifically told not to look her directly in the eye and to not speak directly to her. I understand that someone who has grown up in the ‘limelight’ and in this horrible entertainment business you become very aware of who you can and can not trust. I get that. I also know that you should treat those around you with a tiny bit of respect and courtesy. Especially those you hire to work closely with you and your children.
